as far as the Obama thing...so what? Not everyone sits in front of the television or computer watching our CIRCUS of a media, das all. If I didn't have to work, etc. every day, I wouldn't know a quarter of what was goin on in politics either. That is not DMX in that interview. DMX knows better to say stuff like that. He knows where the line is. Remember that tribute video of Aaliyah "Miss You"? He showed a side of himself you've never seen before. And for a black man to be running for president, D wouldn't even think of something like that to say. So don't believe this mesS MTO posted.
And another reason you can tell it's not him, the "Interview". In the so-called interview, DMX supposedly exaggerates the name Barack again in the last conversation part and says "[EXPLETIVE]" over and over. I have never heard D exaggerate in an interview like that; now maybe one of his songs then yeah. But not in an interview.
You know what that's not even funny. There are so many black people in the world that don't have clue about whats going on around them. I was talking to someone the other day and they didn't know who the Jena 6 were. My mama always told me to make sure i watch the news for at least 10mins out my day.
I think it is rather pitiful that a black celebrity could be so ignorant. It also a shame how most of the ppl who post on here only post about the bs stories but steer clear of the political ones. Just look at the number of comments for a posting on Beyonce and then look at the number of comments about a story about the 2008 campaign. So I guess I am not suprised that DMX could be so ignorant. Come on folks you are making those comments posted on the other racist media sites about us look true. I truly enjoy reading MTO but would like to see more stories that depict us in a more positive way. We have enough of the other sites who don't!!!!

I like DMX, but, based on his lifestyle, and all that sh*t he puts in his system, I can totally believe that he was completely oblivious to who Obama was. And then on top of that, he ain't trippin' off the fact that there's a black man trying to run for Pres, he can't get over dude's name. I truly think that he was tryin to be funny, but just took the mess overboard.
