You know what I believe it. Janet looked pregnant back in the early 80's at this award show. I can't remember which one it was but she looked like she was. If I remember correctly James was on that same award show. Ya'll have to remember Janet was only 16/17 at that time. This was when her very first album/cd was getting ready to be released. and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that, if so at least she is still in the family and doesn't feel abandoned. and debarge's mom has alluded to the fact that there could be some secret janet's not revealing and james won't talk about-so we can hope that perhaps they are in her life as well.

This story was out about 10 years ago except they were showing better pictures than this one and they were saying it was Rebe Jackson's daughter that was actually Janet's daughter and that she was so young when she was supposedly pregnant that Rebe took the girl as her own...I've always wondered if this were true, it was just swept under the rug everytime the story gets hot...
mto... check well. I can remember there was another girl who also looked like Janet, she was Papa Joe's, other daughter. She wasn't that much younger than Janet, from a lady in California. As for the Daughter from Janet and the Debarge Guy, I'm a little skeptical about this. Check again. However, the Sister the was born outside of the Jackson Family, this is true, She is the Jackson's Sister and she has to be at least 32 years old or maybe a litle bit less. But it is not the Girl they are portraying.

this family is so sick that I wouldnt be surprised if she had a kid..I dont know why people swear that Janet is the "normal" one..that girl is just as screwed up as the rest of them..she just knows how to hide it better..that girl has so many issues..and its easy to hide a pregnancy..Janet went through her chunky phase where she was wearing black baggy clothes all the time..plus she could have easily been out of the scene without us noticing..this was before the "Control" era, so no one was following her career like that at the time..if shes denying this child thats dead wrong..
I don't know if that's Janet's daughter or not but I do know that a rumor that has dogged someone for years must have some truth somewhere (Eddie and Johnny Gill ring a bell?). Plus, why would James's younger brother make up a story like this on the radio, of all places? Many of the younger posters on here probably don't realize that families interadopted family children years ago. It kept the children in the family, especially for those who couldn't have their own or were in a better position. This story has been around since the 80s. I kid you not. As James's mother stated, he has never talked to the media about this. If it weren't true, then that's all he needs to say. He did give an interview about this back in the early '90s--didn't confirm or deny.
Plus, this is 2008 and if anyone believes Janet has never been pregnant is a fool. Even Oprah had a baby once in her lifetime but it died. Oprah had to talk about it because her sister and mothe sold stories to the Enquirer about it.
If Janet allowed her brother to adopt the baby, then that was probably what was best for her then. If true, this secret must eventually come out to the young lady. Family secrets can do some serious emotional damage.
Janet Jackson does have a child with James Debarge that she has kept concealed forever. I remember reading about her being pregnant back in the mid-eighties in Right On magazine. The aritcle clearly said she was among the new mothers in hollywood. It showed her being approximately 6 mos. pregnant. After that article you just simply never heard anymore about her being pregnant or anything. Honestly, I thought she had an abortion. Then a few years after I saw the article they started saying that her older sist Rebie (sp) was raising she and James' child.
This story is not made up it is just something she obviously feels a need to conceal which to me is ridiculous. That is her daughter. Janet ought to be ashamed of herself denying her own chid. I think she is just as crazy as her brother Michael.
I had heard and seen pictures of the same person (younger) years ago in a mag. Janet was bearly 18 when she had her and that she gave her to her mother and family to raise. She could hide her daughter. She hide the fact that she was married to here former husband for more than 10 years. She finally told she was married to him shortly before they got divorced.
