Finally something fresh..I was tired of the overplayed songs, although many of them are hot they get played out. It'll take me a min to get used to this new song as it usually does with anything..but I'm really diggin it off the first listen..which is good. Beyonce has some good people around her and she works hard, I would never deny that.
I don't think this song was one of the ones meant to showcase her vocal ability in its entirety, but rather a dance tune. I can see myself working out to this and bopping around..not every song is gonna be a ballad. It's not fantastic or amazing, but it's good enough. I'm sure she has more in store. You know the Stans will love it no matter what..lol So she'll be aight.
Its a pretty good song but I just cant see her doing a whole album of these. I doubt she will do a whole album full of this type of music but I'm still lookin foward to her album later this year tho! Nice song!

I think that the Momentum of her tour and DVD is still pushin especially overseas, So if this songs hits overseas, its a hit, hell once it hits I-Tunes & Nightclubs its a hit, this song aint gonna backfire because her album aint commin out until later this year, but it can still be a successful song. I will be the 1st to say that I like Beyonce and her style, but Sorry Rihanna is still killing it. Like it or not this song does sound a lot like Rihanna's style. No she did not invent dance or pop music, but she damn sure doing a good job of almost perfecting it. Beyonce voice is not working well with that song.
Of course if you say you don't like this song then you are automatically deemed a hater, but I'm just not feeling it. When I first heard Crazy In Love I wasn't sure about it, but there was something about it that made me want to hear more...not w/ this. I'm not sure what she's doing w/ this album but I hope this isn't the theme.
What amazes me is that we are so willing to give Beyonce the benefit of the doubt when she comes out w/ something mediocre and we can't seem to do that for other artist.
Since I have all of Beyonce's albums and haven't been disappointed by its commercial appeal I will just wait and see what else comes from this album.
