Just before 8 PM local time, Gwyneth Paltrow and her husband, Coldplay singer Chris Martin, pulled up to the locale, where a rooftop event, believed to be the nuptials of the singer and her beau may be taking place later tonight.
Beyonce’s former Destiny’s Child bandmates – Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams also arrived, but hid behind an umbrella as Gwyneth and Chris were mobbed by paparazzi on the scene.
A fight broke out between paparazzi as Beyonce’s father, Matthew Knowles arrived and dozens of them surrounded the vehicle he was being carried in.
Earlier in the evening an SUV believed to be carrying Oscar winner Forest Whitaker also turned up.
On Tuesday, reports surfaced that Jay-Z and Beyonce had taken out a marriage license and today – April 4, 2008, rumors the two were marrying reached a new high.
The number four has particular significance to the couple. Both Jay-Z and Beyonce were born on the 4th – Jay Z was born on December 4, 1969, while Beyonce was born September 4, 1981.
A host of media including four live trucks are currently stationed outside the location in preparation for coverage of the suspected nuptials. More than three dozen reporters and paparazzi are also outside with the numbers growing.
Throughout the day SUVs were seen entering and exiting the garage located underneath Jay-Z’s building.
The rooftop penthouse, owned by Jay-Z is adorned in flowers and tented scaffolding.
A Maybach luxury vehicle arrived at the location shortly before 7 PM local time and drove past as it was mobbed by paparazzi. Jay-Z reportedly owns one of the super high-priced cars.
This is not the first time wedding news for the couple has hit the press. Beyonce shot down rumors she had married Jay-Z in a Vanity Fair story in 2005.
Reports also surfaced in December 2007, that the couple had secretly tied the knot in Paris, France.
When contacted by Access Hollywood and asked about the event this evening, neighbors of the rap star repeatedly offered “no comment.”

I'm looking at 16 years of marriage (20 as friends!) on May 29. I tell everyone seeking love to marry your best friend. That's the only way it'll work. We didn't use the word "obey" in our vowels...we ain't each others dogs, property, nor prisoner!
For all those acting like they know them personally and Jay said this in his lyrics, Bey wrong for doing this and that, crabbing about the small private wedding, I say thats EXACTLY why this will last. They shared what may well be the most important day of their lives quite and itimate with the closest of friends and family. No big Hollywood mess and fiasco! They did the damn thing!!!! :) My husband and I did the same thing... 20 close relatives and friends, my moms little apartment, rather than the planned Justice of the Peace we planned an intimate affair in 24 hours for the ones we love most to share our day. Borrowed gown and all for a lifetime of love! :) Through struggle, success, good times and bad, theirs is the kind of love that old 70's singers wrote about! Haha! I know some of ya'll know what I mean :)
They kept it to themselves as they dates and I'm sure they will continue to because at the end of the day, do you REALLLLLY think these two care what the [EXPLETIVE] the masses are saying? They have each other to go home and laugh at it all. Many can't say they have a good man/woman, man/man, woman/woman they can go home to. It's a wonderful thing when you do. NOTHING like true love! They still make songs about it today :)
I'm not so much a fan of either but you can't hate on what God brought together as one. In a world where love is more scarce then ever, one can only be so lucky to find that man or woman who they can laugh, cry, and share their lives with. NOT "wifey" but WIFE. Not "My Baby Daddy" but my HUSBAND and "The Kids Father". The Clyde to your Bonnie and vice versa.
Don't hate on 'em...just do you and get yours! Kudos they kept it on the hush. It was theirs to begin with, not the publics. Kids... whenever. Kind of overrated and like Bey and Jay, gots them neices and nephews to dote on :) Take time and enjoy each other on this new journey you have fortaken and wife and husband!

Last summer some of my family flew in from Guyana and wanted to get sketches of themselves. So I took them to Time Square and while I was there I got mines done as well. I’m glad you like it.
