: MediaTakeOut.com is hearing whispers that Atlantic Records has reportedly ordered Estelle to have her teeth cosmetically fixed to help her break into the American charts.
According to the UK paper The Sun, the record label bosses also want her to ditch the boyish haircut and want to give her a complete image overhaul.
A source told the newspaper: "The American executives are adamant she makes a lot of significant changes. They want rid of her tomboy hair and want her to get her teeth fixed.

I cannot be mad at them for asking her to fix those teeth. I peeped those bad teeth when she did that special w/ John Legend on TVOne...that shouldn't be just a career move, that should be a life change. I bet Shy from Flavor of Love which someone would cut her that 20K check to get her grill fixed.
this is crazy i was just lookin at her myspace page b/c i LOVE the song she has with kanye. and i was thinkin 'yo her teeth are a lil messed up' so yea she should atleast get that done. but as far as the hair i love her hair....but regardless that girl can SANG! and she should just continue to be her.
A little dental work couldn't hurt but other than that I think she's fine. She has a unique look and style about her which she's going to need in order to stand out in this overcrowded ass game. Now here they are trying to turn the poor girl into just another carbon copy. Welcome to the American recording industry I guess.
I really don't think her teeth should be that big of a deal. It goes to show that the people on this site are not only shallow, but they are heartless. I understand that her being in a business where looks are important is a big thing for her but overall she will NEVER be a Beyonce or Rhianna etc. so I beleive she should have a choice. If she sings as well as people say then it shouldn't matter. Because once they fix her teeth then from then on they'll be tryna change everything on the poor gurl. I mean she's not the first singer that lacks being "perfect" in the industry: Fantasia's lips, Keyshia Cole's gap, Brandy's just everything and the list goes on, but all these women are still talented nonetheless. Leave her alone!

That was the first thing that I noticed about her in her video. If she wants an american boy she has to fix her grill. That song is wack though just like Terrance J. out of all of the good looking brothas in america she picks Terrance (Lame) J. Estelle come back to america when you find something better than broke Terrance J.
She need to do something. She is ugly as hell without any makeup and her teeth are very jacked up as well - not to mention the fact that she has no talent. I hope you people over there in the big ole USA don't think that THIS is all the UK has to offer. We do have some talent here but unfortunately Estelle is representing us right now. She has no talent, no class, no femininity, no charm and definitely no X-factor.
Ugh. Can we please stop with the stereotypes about UK teeth? We have free health and dental care over here. Chances are the average Brit has better teeth than the average American. The real difference between you and us is that we don't *demand* our celebrities get their crooked, stained teeth straightened and whitened... *cough* Fantasia *cough* L'il Kim *cough*
Those that believe the sterotype of British people having bad teeth are just once again highlighting American ignorance (which i unfortunately seem to find more and more amongst forums these days.) - Please go and culture yourself, i understand how easy it is to get a stereotype from a Hollywood actor who whitens their teeth all the time compared with a British actor who's just keeping it real... so 4real, read a book or something!!
