I was in a club one time in Atlanta with Michael Jordan and Charles Oakley. This was about 3 years ago. Mike and Charles were up in V.I.P with the lights low. The girls were pushing and falling all over each other trying to get into VIP with Mike. All of the girls were young black women. Not all the girls were like that. But it was kinda of crazy to see. This use to be something that really bothered me until i grew to understand relationships and people. Sometimes two black people just can't get along enought to be in a relationship and then maybe they will date somebody outside their race and it an instant difference they feel at peace, appreciated and all of that. Remember there are alot of black entertainers who don't get coverage or athletes that are not as well known who are married to sistas or nonwhite women. Why should black women have to compete with any other race of women for black men. Black men are the only men in this country who act as if they are or have to be the Rainbow *** Collition. I personally don't want to date another black man. Its not because they date white women, because they been doing that ever since whitey allowed it. I don't think all black men are bad, but its just not the same any more. Black men just don't seem to have any respest for black women. black men want the impossible from a black women. I'm just not willing to go through it. I listen to all these degrading comments about black women, and now i'm more sure then ever. I know all black men are like this, but its not worth it. Actually it's the other way around. Most black women are intimidated by white women. That's why they get so mad when they see or hear about a black man dating a white woman. It's all because white girls have the natural different color eyes and hair, And the texture of white people's hair is silky like... Atleast the majority of them.

If you date / marry outside of your race because you happen to meet that person and think he / she is cool, then that's one thing. If you date / marry outside of your race because you think there is something inherently wrong with your OWN, then that's where the problem lies. And if you date / marry ANYONE of ANY RACE for what they've got or can "do for you," that's an even bigger issue. But, let's be realistic -- it happens all the time.
