I have to say something, I really have to, you see I keep telling my children that there is nothing more ignorant than hating, disliking, commenting, stereotyping someone for their skin color, since we don't get to chose at birth our color! Now being ignorant even though I believe some people are born like that, the rest it is an acquired or rather a lack of knowledge. How can you comment on skin color, especially for children when we have no power over that, some might argue and say well then procreate only with your own kind, to those people I say who are you to tell me who to love or not to love, just as I can't tell you about your life, what to do, your choice in careers, your name, your hairstyle, etc..It is so hard as a parent trying to teach my children that people should not be judge by the color of their skin but by the content of their mind, when ignorant people spew their words..Yes love yourself, love your skin but don't put other people down to make yourself feel good.

1. Racial mixing isn't "selling out." We are all one race... HUMAN. And with the way Black men claim all Black women do is complain and that's why they date and marry interracially, why shouldn't she or any other Black woman do the same? (BTW, Black men are the number one group that marries interracially. Check the stats.) 2. That child is obviously albino. I have an albino aunt. And albino doesn't come from racial mixing. It comes from lack of melanin. You can be any race and be albino. 3. Sending an albino person into the sun to get a tan is very bad, considering their lack of melanin means they have very little protection from harmful UV rays, which means they burn faster and have a higher risk of developing skin cancer. Whoever said that comment about sending the albino child to get some sun is very misinformed. 4. The boy is just light skinned. And he's not strangely lightskinned either. It's just that he's light skinned and his sister is albino that causes you all to automatically think he's strangely light too.
I would suggest that some of you, including the MTO writers, educate yourselves before commenting on someone's situation. And Black people, let's stop being just as racist, by screaming how wrong it is to "depurify" the Black race by racial mixing. Um, the one drop rule is still pretty much in effect.
