: MediaTakeOut.com has learned that former NBA star Latrell Sprewell Milwalkee home was foreclosed on Monday after he failed to show up in court to contest the action brought by a bank that held his mortgage.
The holder of the mortgage, RBS Citizens Bank, told Milwaukee County Circuit Court Judge David Hansher that Sprewell owed $320,284. According to River Hills records, the house is assessed at $610,000 and has an estimated fair market value of $667,980. Sprewell bought the house in 1994 for $405,000.
But there's more. Sprewell, 37 has had other financial difficulties lately. In January, his yacht, "Milwaukee's Best," was sold at auction by the U.S. Marshals Service. The yacht, said to be worth more than $1.5 million, went for $856,000 after Sprewell failed to make the required $10,322 monthly payments.
In March, Community Bank Group obtained a $72,698 judgment against Sprewell; in September 2007, the state filed a lawsuit against Sprewell for $72,102 in unpaid taxes. Neither judgment has been satisfied.
And get this. Sprewell could still be playing in the N.B.A. But he turned down a three-year, $21 million contract extension with the Minnesota Timberwolves saying, "I've got my family to feed." The Timberwolves never resigned him after that.

how stupid can u be? my mom raised me and my two brothers with making 19,000 a year and this was back in the early early 90's and to be honest it was prob less than 19,000 cuz she was working at a sewing plant back then.....but still we ate good.........so i hate when these celebs and pro athletes (who i think are over paid for what they do because teachers, doctors,farmers,police, hell people with real jobs dont get paid nearly as much and we are the folks that are putting in the real labor for the country....hell they are nuthin but pure entertainment...so i always thought them fools where over paid......

latrell has been crazy since alabama. he has some issues. his baby got mauled in the face by the family dog and he did not get the dog put down---they had to come and take the dog. then he had the nerve to be mad at the folks for coming for the dog. even though social services had threatened to take his kids. our people value the wrong shyt sometimes....
