It says the man was intoxicated. So he may not have been in his right mind to fully realize what he was doing. I know people that act a plum fool when they get to drinking. I believe you can contact AIDS from someone spitting on you IF the infected bodily fluid gets in contact with an open body part on an uninfected person. EX: DON'T SWALLOW A MAN/WOMAN'S LOVE JUICE OR BRUSH YOUR TEETH AFTER GIVING HEAD AND HAVING SOMEBODY NUT IN YOUR MOUTH. BECAUSE THEY COULD BE INFECTED WITH HIV AND YOU SWALLOW THE NUT IT GETS IN YOUR SYSTEM AND COULD INFECT YOU, OR IF YOU SPIT IT OUT AND THEN BRUSH YOUR TEETH, THE TOOTHBRUSH IS MAKING LITTLE CUTS IN YOUR MOUTH WHERE THE NUT COULD SEEP IN IT AND GET IN YOUR SYSTEM. Understand why he got 35 yrs now! Bodily fluids is one way to contract the disease. And old boy spit in the officers mouth and eye, so the spit and germs in it, got into the officers system. You can get HIV through spit if the person has blood in their spit and some people have a great deal of blood in there.
