I love to see this. black men making moves politically. I don't live in New york but he will have my full support if he does. Oh yeah, support Kevin Powell who is running for congress for brooklyn. Washington needs this kind of change. I respect what the elders did but know is the time for change...a time to let the younger generation take the reigns and run this country...like Obama! Hip Hop has come along way and for a brotha that came to greatness is going to run for the Mayor of one of the most powerful and wealthiest cities in the world should be saying and meaning something to all of us that come from where he came from, that listen to what he listens to and that represents what he represents. You got to be proud of that man and it's not a ethnicity thing but if he does this one of us made it and it will open the doors for others to get involved and start making changes in this government of ours. And when I say "one of us made it" I mean someone that represents change and diversity. One more thing, don't just vote for this man based on the color of his skin, vote for him because you beleive in words and vote for him because you want change that he represents and vote for him because he'll be the best person for the job.
