: Ther was some SERIOUS drama at yesterday's Summer Jam concert in NYC (hosted by NY radio station Hot 97). It all started when the station decided to put a "special performance" behing Kanye West to end the show. And according to a number of sources, Kanye West threw a fit when he was told that he would not be closing the show.

Kanye was like "How the F@#% are you gonna let Jim Jones close the show - don't nobody even know who he is." He was going on and on about how he's the biggest name in hip hop and Jim Jones was a nobody ... But after about a minute of screaming, he must have realized that Jim Jones was in the arena - cause he abruptly stopped criticizing Jim and turned his anger towards Hot 97. He was like 'No disrespect to Jim Jones or Dipset, but F@#% Hot 97, they lied to me."

College Dropout = Classic Late Regitration = Lot of differnt flow, different beats. All in all dope album. Graduation = A little water down to be a Rap album but still good music.

Kanye can't be mad because a New York radio station is showing New York Love! We got stations in Chicago, but they don't promote Chicago Artist or have big shows like Summer Jam! What's wrong with WGCI or Power 92 here? In New York they make Artist and build them up while in Chicago the Radio Personalities act like cheerleaders for Artist that are built up some place else. Atlanta, Miami, and New York build up the Artist. If a DJ/Radio Personality builds up an Artist they get exclusives from the Artist that they build up and in return they blow up also. As soon as a New York, Miami, or Atlanta, Artist blows up from the support they get in their home town some punk a_s Chicago Radio Personality starts screaming and nutting over them! I'm from ATL and Jim Jones is cool, but the only problem i have with him is that he rides other people's jock (see Harlem's American Gangster). Why?? I didn't want to hear it because he took somebody else's concept. Kanye's success comes from being original and different. Who cares if white kids or any other kids are buying your music.
