I think a pregnant woman with her belly out is sexy. In other cultures it's nothing, in fact it is a show of pride, toward your husband and for your child. Oh yeah American woman usually don't have a husband and don't really want the child at first, so I see why MTO may feel this is not a good look. Trust me she is all good.

You are 100% correct, I am an Azz. My students tell me all the time that I say some off the wall sh*t, but you know what, I just tell it like I see it. If you read my post, I said "usually". There is a distict difference in the level of pride and joy when a married couple says to their family, "hey everybody we're pregnant", and when a young girl says "I think I'm pregnant". I know this because I see it every school year.
Now you mentioned you and your man, are not together, which is sort of an oxymoron due to the statement "your man" and "not together" don't really coincide. I do however understand your point, that you and your BD are proud of your child. My brother was so proud of his first baby that he went out and made 2 more. The crazy thing is that this is my brother, so I know him, and he treats the little boy that he has with his wife, with a little more pride than his little girls he had by his BM's. Personally I think this has to do with the fact that he sees his son every day no ifs, ands, or buts. HE AND HIS WIFE have a legally binding agreement (marrige license) which means that he had rights from the day his son was born. Now with his 2nd BM he had to go to court to get some rights, and pay out the AZZ. His first BM took his daughter and bounced, so he sees her like once a year. This is cool with him because her mom didn't take him to court, he sends her what he can, when he can. He talks about his little ladies every once in a while but his every waking moment is focused on his son and his wife.
So that was my whole pride break down. I'm not upset that you were "talking shyt" and I hope I didn't offend you, I just felt as though maybe you misunderstood where I was coming from. Pride in a baby from a Mom and Dad that are "one", is a whole different ballgame. I wish you and ol boy the best.
