There's his side, her side, and some where in the middle is the truth. Why would he stay with her if all this was going on? Why not separate for a while to try and see things more clearly and go from there? Also if Karrine was physically and verbally abusive to her son it was his responsibility to take some form of action i.e. tell her not to do it again or else he would report her. You know what? I'm a psyc student, and Karrine's behavior is very similar to this case study I had to read about a woman who suffered from Boderline Personality Disorder. I think Karrine might be Boderline, not bipolar as someone else mentioned. The more closely I look at her alleged behavior, the more it makes sense, because she fits all of these criteria:
1.Frequent suicidal ideation (wanting to die) 2.Self-mutilation (cutting) 3.extremely manipulative behavior (I'll cut/kill myself if you leave me, I'll air your business out in a book if you leave me) 4.Self-destructive behavior (promiscuous sex, drug abuse, alcohol abuse) 5.major depression, eating disorders, and usually a history of childhood abuse. 6.Black and white thinking (If you're not with me then you're against me, if you don't agree with me then you don't love me, etc.)
If Karrine doesn't fit all of these criteria then I don't know who does. All of the attention seeking and lashing out at the men who have scorned her are just her way of acting out rather than come to terms with the trauma of her childhood. Karrine if you're reading this then I encourage you to seek help. You won't be any good to your son as half a person. You need therapy in order to become whole.
