The list is called WORLDS most powerful celebrity. :-) don't be mad. One of the determining factors is tv/radio play. Another is you MUST have been an A-LIST celebrity that has been on the cover of NO LESS than 50 MAJOR magazines (that year). Media interest :-) etc. There's much more... but again, it says WORLDS Most Powerful Celebrities.

They've just listed people who turned a profit/appealed to the masses in a time when most entertainers can't. That's not saying much, though, which is why tons of athletes appear on the list. Alicia, made the list, Tyler Perry made the list 50 made list, Their just not in the TOP 10 like Beyonce, Jay, Oprah, & Tiger! All MTO did is show you how many African-Americans made the list in general!

The list is correct and everyone who says otherwise needs to go to the Forbes website and to stl finest toy the list you are talking about is from 2006. The Forbes celebrity 100 is based upon a celebrity's earning power, newspaper magazine articles, web hits and it's all added up to derive a celebrity's ranking.

According to the above list, 50 cent who is holding down the 26th position in the Forbes, should have according to his earnings, been 2nd to oprah. How is he at number 26; when his earnings where $150 million last year? Tiger woods made $115 million last year, and he's holdin down the number 2 spot, according to this list it should have been 50 cent. And Beyonce, only made $80 million last year, how does she ganish the No. 4 spot. Perhaps the No. 4 spot could have went to Tiger Woods, jayZ, or mabe even Tyler perry, at the 42nd mark who made $125 million last year. Either something is wrong with this ordered list of the Top 10 wealthest, or my analytical skills are handicapped. And if that's the case, then I stand to be corrected. But for now , I see some descrepencies all over this list.
