this b*tch needs to spend more time putting out music and less time worrying about rolling papers..I love her music but why is it that she comes out with something every 5 years? come on now! her recent album is great, but I only heard one of the singles put out on the radio and Ive only seen one video
well i guess u gotta get yo hustle on somehow when yo musics not selling. pity she couldntve came out something positive for black folks since she always talkin all that positive black affirmation sh*t. instead she comes out with drug paraphenalia aimed at who? black folks. nice. do what u gotta do but she just slid about 50 points down in the respect meter 4 me.

@PrettyBoi..I have to agree with you on that one..shes always preaching black awareness and peace and positivity..but shes promoting drug use at the same time? doesnt she know its hard enough for our people to get jobs and get through school?..the last thing we need is to encourage people to get high so that we stay behind the bunch..I can only see this appealing to young dumb ass people who still think its cool to smoke weed..when your ass is 30 years old, still living in your mamas house, no job, no car, no money, lets see how all that weed smoking helped you out
Absolutely love this woman...She is hands down my favorite chick in the game at the moment....
Her last album was deep and powerful...I'm talkin' some end up on a government list level deep stuff...But unfortunately its not the kind of thing n*ggas are ready or willing to listen to because too many are too busy listing to silly songs about supermanning ho's, lickin lollipops, or whatever the hell else....
I don't think this is a great move on her part, but I still greatly support her as an artist....SOME body has to keep conscious music alive...

@esotericdredz- I agree with you , alot of people don't like her new album because they don't know what shes talking about, it's all about licking lollipops and making luv in the club with a freakum dress on to most of these people

@ESOTERICDREDZ, agree about some of bullshyt music ppl makin nowadays although I like a few Lil Weezy joints. PRETTYBOI & GIGI. Why so negative? You ever drink alcohol or coffee? those r legal drugs. As far as these jobs, they make u wanna smoke just to relax. I know some ppl abuse it. But I know ppl who smoke and handle and/or run their own businesses. ONE MORE THING, weed is legal in some countries like Amsterdam. Black ppl are not the majority of ppl who smoke. Latinos and White folks smoke nowadays.
FendiFiend-because erykah has borrowed from other artists does not in any way take away from her music or her talent, and just so you kinow wayne borrows from andre 3000 style and jay-z's and he admits that, so enjoy lil waynes sadistic nursery rymes that he recites with a mouth full of pressurized coal and a face full of permanent ink, not to mention he refers to himself as a demon which i would not doubt
also Erykah badu is only deep to people who know the prophesy of the most high and know the TRUTH about this world and the satanic gov't that rules it,not what you said
