Jay-z is just mocking Noel Gallagher the lead singer of Oasis, because he dissed Jay when he found out he was going to headline the festival. He didnt think rap music belonged in a festival that has always featured rock bands, and the fans would have come with or without it.
I kinda saw his point, but there nothing wrong with shaking thinks up with a little experimentation. If it doesnt work, then scratch it for the next time.

To a person like me that listens to rock music everyday..this is no shock..like someone else on here said..Jay Z did a remix with Linkin Park..actually a couple of remixes with them..Rock music isn't new to me...BTW do you realize how many black people sung to rock n roll music in the 50's and do you know how many black people now sing rock music and they don't get credit...People like Lenny Kravitz don't get credit..So many people...Little Richard sung rock n roll music..Without rock music I think that music would be very boring..I don't need to see a rapper singing rock music for me to actually pick up some rock music..I was raised with all kinds of music around me and I'm black and grew up around my black family...My mom made sure that I grew up around a wide variety of music and nothing less than that...many of us black folk need to do that as well.. |
