Yeah, he had a medicore album and that doesn't cut it from a star of his status. Plus, I also think it was backlash from his marriage and how he handled his fans. You can make a stand on positions in your life, but that doesn't mean you don't lose fans. Just like Bey, I think there is going to be someone backlash from her marriage as well, because some can't fantasize being her (meaning young girls) or being with her (meaning guys). I think there is a difference being the HOT girlfriend than being the wife in the music industry. It takes away some of your IT factor. Let's face it, younger people buy the music, older people download it or make a copy. Beyonce has also done bigger album sells numbers than Ciara and has more popularity. Ciara makes great music, but Beyonce's is better. Ciara can dance her butt off but her vocals are bad & Beyonce also can dance and have a powerful voice. Plus, Beyonce is more on a ICON status. Ciara has alot of growing to do. Then all of a sudden out of nowhere her sells just jump. Yall are giving her way to much credit. Beyawnce is an average singer at best, its just the media that glamorizes her so much, she has preferential treatment, thats the only reason she gets so much stuff. I mean she can release trash and they still give her stuff. Alicia bodies Beyawnce period. She's a true artist with real musical talent. Beyawnce wouldnt dare release her crap near Alicia's cause she knows that she will have her azz served to her. Alicia is way more well rounded, she has forced Beyawnce to not show up to award shows. And Beyawnce did not sell 130 million albums, now maybe her cd's with singles, and albums included she has. And Beyawnce aint more popular than Alicia either. Alicia is very mainstream she's just real talent thats all, and not a gimmick.

Alicia still has number 1 singles, she doesnt sacrifice her artistic integrity for this business like Beyawnce so she is to be repected that much more. Ciara can actually do this, alot of people have been turned off by Beyawnce. Nothing is for sure for her. She needs a major reinvention. As for Rihanna she doesnt sell albums only singles. Her album has been out for over a year, and she's only at 1.3 million copies, Mariah has just about passed her weak non singing azz. Keyshia has sold more than her also. Umbrella was huge and all she could muuster up was 162k bomb, Janet even opened bigger than that, so what does this say about Rihanna.

Now Usher's album is horrible period. But Mariah's is brilliant. One of the best if not the best so far. It has something for everyone, people just expect certain things, and when they are not given to u ur then disappointed. Mariah's album is amazing. Janet's is pretty damn good to.

Anyway Beyawnce knows to wait when major stars release there albums, next Mary, Mary's cd had no hits from it, and sold on the strength of her last one. She opened big but thats it. And she can thank holiday sales for that. Now, speaking of Alicia, even if she didnt release her album during the holiday season she would have still sold more than Beyawnce, her last album sold more than Beyawnce's and this album already surpassed "B-Days" sells in a shorter amount of time.
