its real funny how when i would watch this show most of the prisoners they interview are african american men. Although we know for a fact that black men are the high percentage in a prison, there are *** WHITE AND HISPANIC MALES ALSO. But everytime i watch this *** they interview a black mele about ***. What type of *** is that?

I have always heard that "sagging" came from the prison system from someone who works in the prison system and that when a man wears his pants "sagging" this lets other men know that he is down with ***. That is why I don't know why a lot of these men on the outside continue to wear their pants "sagging"? I asked a a young lady in her 20's why some men "sag" and didn't they know what "sagging" meant? She told that alot of them knew what it meant. I all I can say is WOW! Wrap it up each and every time. I can understand a man might want to wear his pants baggy a little loose but that "sagging" looks distgusting and nasty.
This is not funny this is sad & sick. The prison system knows this behavior goes on but won't distribute condoms and all kind of disease, especially HIV/AIDS is spreaded. Some of these guys have *** with other guys until they get out to see their wives & girlfriends. This is one reason why HIV/AIDS is so high among African-American women. This is very disturbing.
Sagging Pants that old, old, news. I knew that when I was a child. That is why when the guys started to where sagging pants I would laugh, they thought it was cool they had no idea that imitating "booty boys" in jail. Ignorance is Bliss, so keep glorifying getting locked up because someone is looking at your booty.
I can't even see the video on this computer, however, I saw that episode of "Lock-up" and it was too funny. "da easy way or the hard way" lmao! If I remember correctly he said they usually chose the "easy" way. Most of these fake gangstas out here would probably choose the easy way as well...talking about they would die fighting to protect themselves.
Had to log in for this one. Sweetpea1, I've always heard that men incarcerated sag their pants because in jail a belt is considered a weapon, thus they don't allow inmates to have or wear them. I've never heard that it was some type of marking of guys that are down with getting it in the a.s.s.
However, I do agree with your latter statement that knowing all of what goes on in prison they should distribute condoms. I believe they figure that will encourage the behavior, though. I sort of agree with their reasoning, because these are all grown men who KNOW what types of diseases are out there. Still, they don't care, and they still choose to engage in unprotected ***. That's their decision and the consequences they'll have to deal with.
Everyone knows men will f.u.c.*** a hole in the wall, so this is no surprise. What's most disturbing is when someone who never had intentions of taking that "route" encounter fools like this who feel you either have to take it "the easy way or the hard way." That's ***.h.i.t. I think the real lesson here is if you know your lover has been to jail (especially for a significant amount of time) be cautious, because you KNOW what goes on. Don't be oblivious. I'm not encouraging people to stay away from ex-convicts, but just be smart. Don't ignore the obvious signs.
This is exactly the reason AIDS is so prevalent in the black community. The guys coming out of jail continue to live on the DL because they don't want to be openly *** and ostracized. People need to realize that when things become commercialized it does not carry the same meaning as it originated from. That may be why braids (which I don't agree with--I think it's Afrocentric) and sagging (which I still think came from men in jail wearing big jumpsuits and not having belts), but it does not hold true in today's time. Most men do NOT get braids nowadays because they're *** or sag because they want d*ck in their ***.
Me and my man watched this video and laughed at the man's bluntness! At first I was disgusted at what he said but then I had to give him credit for being upfront with what he does and not trying to be on the down low. We all are aware of what goes on in jails, this man just stated what we already know. In prison there is no choice in giving up the booty, it's either you give it up or have it taken.

It doesn't take five years or even one year for this to happen. I know a guy who was convicted and setenced and within two weeks was commenting on how "pretty" one of the other inmates was and what he would do to him "if he were a female". It was like I wasn't even talking to the same person. (No this wasn't a boyfriend of mine)
It's psychology turned reality. In order to try and not be raped or messed with, some turn into the aggressers themselves. And it's all downhill from there. Just like kids who have been molested repeatedly. They often turn their hurt and confusion into something tolerable in their own minds so that they feel "normal" again. I think that prisons were worst back in the 70's and 80's and that prison rape was more of a threat back then than it is today. If you enter prison as a straight man, it's extremely hard for me to comprehend how being raped can turn you ***. These days, I think that prison *** is more consentual than anything.

I saw this episode of locked up and it scared the hell out of me. Dude was really serious. He is a sexual predator aiming at men and what's messed up is that men are more likely not to report being raped so he does it again and again and again. That is why I do not date men who have been locked up period. *** I saw shawshanks redemption and those other ones. It only takes one ***. Usually the first ***. I'm good.
This is very sad, but a reality of life. Did anyone see Oz? What about Prison Song? Men do a lot of things in jail to pass time and satisfy the desires in their hearts. This should be a warning to every man and woman to stay out of trouble. I have heard of the hardest acting" thugs" that end up getting assaulted in jail. Some learn to like it and then come home and live a life of the "down low" man. Once your manhood is taken, it is hard to get it back; however, it happens to some men and they are able to live normal lives after jail. All you can do is pray for safety when you are in jail!!!
I know this topic is old, but i don't understand why so many guy's AND girls(men & women) think it's so darn cool to get looked up (go to jail).
I laugh at that logic, they don't realise they are a slave in jail, jail is'nt a fighting camp(where they teach you how to fight) so why do they think they're tough when they come out of jail.
Basically when a person is in jail/prison they are a slave, they tell you when to eat, when to go to bed at ***, where you can go and where you can't, it's just idiotic, you can't leave the prison to go where you want, you are a caged animal, traped by bar's.
