: MediaTakeOut.com just learned that a woman by the name of Florence Addo-Gerth gave birth to black and white twins named Ryan and Leo, at a hospital in Lichtenberg, Germany. Florence, who is originally from Ghana, is married to German-born Stephan Gerth.
Here's how MSNBC is reporting it:
The maternity ward’s head doctor, Birgit Weber,told the news media:See something different every day....“The first baby that was born, Ryan, has light skin and blue eyes. His brother, Leo, is dark-skinned with brown eyes.” "None of us could believe it.” “Both kids have definitely the same father.”
The odds of such events occurring are one in a million, say doctors, but it can happen with fraternal twins due to the genetic soup in our backgrounds.

My kids arent twins but my daughter looks puerto rican and my son looks like Justin Timberlake and they are black and white , same mother and father....He has blonde hair and blue eyes, and she has real dark brown hair and big brown eyes tans beautifully ...My son cant get a tan to save his life, I think hes half ghost!!
African Americans are called many things and one of those names happens to be "colored." Reason being is that black people come in many shades of color and that is part of what makes us beautiful people. Situation like this have become more common and thru time the rate will only increase as an effect of interracial relationships.
Umm they must be blind the one on the left looks like a mixed baby and the one on the right is just black. They can't possibly have the same father unless he has black in him wayyyyyy down the line. I saw on another site were these teens were both black and white and they REALLY did have one white baby and one black baby. Now THAT would be possible - the two white genes and the two black genes but these two...something is weird with that, because it is possible for twins to have different fathers. Did they actually do a DNA test or are just saying that is his baby( the darker one)?
I've seen better. I saw a coule (both were black/white...biracial) and they had twin girls. One had nice brown skin, black curly hair borwn eyes, everything. The odds of something like that happening are so little, I could see how this got coverage. When a woman conceives with twins, The ONE embryo will either split into two and stay in the same sac (The placenta) giving you Identical Twins. In her case, When she ovulated around the time of conception, Her ovaries ovulated 2 or more eggs. That happens to most women, But they don't even know it. When she got pregnant, Her husband fertilized two of those eggs, and they were in their own separate sac, giving you Fraternal Twins.
There was a case in South America not too long ago of a 17 year old girl that had 7 children. She has one at the age of 13, then had a set of triplets back to back. The odds of a woman having triplets back to back without any fertility treatment are little to none as well.
Ryan is mixed *** Leo is black.I've never seen a mixed baby that dark.If 1 of them was pure white and the other pure black,we could say miracle but in this case,looks like 1 is mixed and the other black.It's possible for fraternal twins to have seperate fathers(u can google it).But who knows ,these dayz anything can happen.

my mom is filipino and my dad is black (very dark skinned) and they have 9 kids...growing up, my black cousins would always tease that my mom would have at least one dark baby, but we all came out looking the same and the same shade...
bottom line- ALL shades of Black is beautiful!

Twins Have Different Fathers A Croatian woman who slept with two men at the same time has given birth to twins with two different fathers. The 23-year-old student, who has been named only as M B, gave birth to non-identical twins in Zagreb seven months ago. However, she has revealed that DNA testing has shown the children have different fathers.
She told daily Jutarnji List, "I was shocked at getting pregnant and even more surprised when doctors told me that my two sons had different fathers." Doctors have said twins being born to different fathers is extremely rare.

Three HS cases were found in a parentage test database of 39,000 records. The frequency of HS among dizygotic twins whose parents were involved in paternity suits is 2.4%.

yea that happened with another couple too they had two girls and one wuz white and the other wuz black. Both of the parents were biracial. I think it wuz in a jet magazine. i wanna kno why they named him leo and the other ryan? *** they coulda said ryan and dylan or sumin lol come on now...leo?? lol
The Coon and Toon twins are not biologically by the same men. The mother went to have invitro and sperm was left over from the last job. The couple happened to be black then...BINGO...Mother gave birth to twins. She recalled seeing a black couple during that time and contacted the father so he could be apart of the son's life. Father saw him maybe once and ain't come back. The son has had to deal with a lot of racist ish too. I saw it all on one of the news channel. They even went back and did a follow up. Age 10 I think. They weren't as cute.
As far as this story, if it is this German's baby, I'm sure the darker one will grow clearer in time. I have yet to see a black woman give birth to a dark baby when the father is white. It's always the white women who have the darkest(relative to the white woman's tone NOT to the typical AA tone) babies.

this pic is unbelievable! its very hard to imagine that white man actually being the father of the darker child on the right. cuz to be quite honest, i never seen a newborn so dark, especially if one of the parents is supposed to be white. old fannie mae mama may have been creeping around on old german boy. he need to get a dna test for the darker one-cuz aight no way!

As long as the parents don't treat them any different they'll be alright. Boys just love one another and take up for each other. Look at me I have problems all the time. Both my parents are dark skinned and guess what my skin is not white enough for the white people and not black enough for the black people but never the less I am 100% Black and I'm proud of it. Black is Beautiful no matter what shade it is. Oh and the lighter baby would be considered a Light Skinned Brother when he grows up.
Actually, the lighter one can pass for full German. Believe it or not, there are plenty of Germans that look Italian (dark hair, swarthy complexions). I've heard of this before, it's actually pretty common, especially when one of the parents have mixed blood, or when the parents are both multiracial.
