Wow. I have said before I think there's an issue in our community about thinking lighter is right and will always stand by that, but I feel as though your "high yella are the ones who want money" was just plain rude and wrong. A lot of females are gold-diggers today. I wouldn't single out the high yella sisters.

Too many of us on here respond to responses instead of leaving our own opinions to the topic at hand. That's what usually causes arguments. It was a knee jerk reaction to reply when I saw what you wrote, but at the end of the day, it's your opinion. I have my very own and they have and will excite others. How does someone look like they'd make a good wife? I'm confused! Maybe Chris has no desire to marry... maybe he hasnt met the one yet. I know that will seem strange TO lot of people considering he's probably dated half of the free world.. but you have to realize he's an athelete it has to be hard for him to meet a woman who will be good to him based on his character. I actually went to school, an HBCU, with Erica and can tell you that she is being unfairly judged.
First, she is not a gold-digger, she is from a financially well-off area where many African-Americans are doing well (like 6-figure-income well) so she was never broke.
Second, she was a very humble, quiet, and sweet girl in college and was even voted Miss Freshman (though she was so low-key). So you could say she was a Beauty Queen.
Third, she is in fact Black and she's never downplayed that (like I said she chose an HBCU). We come in all skin tones and it is what it is, how can we be mad at Young Berg in one breath for being ignorant about "dark butts" but in the next breath dog a sister out for NOT being "black enough." That's just wrong.
It's a shame that people come up with a whole profile of this woman based on knowing little to nothing about her just because of who she's with. Now how fair is that?
It's amazing that there are so many haters in the world. Most of these negative comments come from people who don't look half as good as Chris & Erika and who don't have anything. Erika & Chris look great together and they are a wonderful couple. Erika, ignore these ignorant people, obviously they have no life and too much time on their hands.
