mariah does have a right to HER privacy but i doubt she'd change her last name to his she didn't change it when she was married to tommy mottola so why would she consider changing it now? i agree with the person who said nick needs to change his last name to hers for one he would get movie deals alot quicker two she has become famous under the name mariah carey and nick could be getting million dollar deals just by using her last name three her last name sounds better on him than his sounds on her!!!!!

In my opinion, something just strange about this all of a sudden marriage. I mean when they did tie the knot it had taken a few of us by surprise like damn I didn't even knew they ever dated. The topic at hand the name change is so boring...When I look at them I wonder is this real or did they decide to do this for publicity becuz of the fame 2 celebrities being married gets nowadays. for example, jada n will and brad n ana, jay z and bey, hell the ones that aint married rhi and chris brown. It seems like we pay attention more to high profile couples...

I don't see why people don't like them, I think they're cute and genuine. At least they're open and honest about their union unlike other artists' who hide their rings every chance they get.
