Like I told him before, I surround myself with positive black people who care for each other. Booyah, see there isn't anything wrong with a Black woman giving advice to another Black woman in a respectful way(key word respectful)...But I don't see how any woman who calls herself Black can come along and talk down to BW, and siding with the bashing of BW...
Now like I said, I could agree with some of da_Advocators points because I do feel some of us should take heed, however I won't tolerate the bashing and putting BW down as a whole as if the grass is greener on the other side...
I mean we all know or heard of some trifling BW...just as we know some trifling BM...but to say that Black women alone(as a whole) are always blaming someone else all the while praising Black men?

@wackymoe, It's not like Kobe hasn't had any hardship in his life...I think he has changed himself for the better...He has been stoned enough by EVERYONE and I think what he's gone through and being a father to two young girls has helped him...I've seen it over the last year or so with him...He isn't perfect but no one is...They're a beautiful family in my eyes and I hope they stay that way...

It always seems to be the same men on this site, degrading black women in order to defend the "black man." Are you people (just the haters) insane?
I guess all of you brothas (the haters) are the spawn of jackals. I guess no black woman ever did anything good by any of you. I guess your mothers weren't black women. Or if they were they may have been a special type; you know the kind that is seen but not heard. Or maybe you guys hate your mothers too. When you men bash the black woman at every conceivable opportunity it shows such self loathing and insecurity.
I ask again, why do some of you throw us all into pile and [EXPLETIVE] on us? None of the black women I know well (single mothers included) blame black men for all of their problems.
Having said that, why is it so hard for some of you haters to admit that some of your brothers ARE to blame for some of these women's problems? For every "hood-rat" female you label, there is a "hood-rat" male ready to hop into her bed. I remember a young man when I was in college who had 4 girls pregnant at the same time. FOUR!!!!! Why do you take the disagreements so personal? Some of the thing the ladies say about men is a reminder of the things I say I'll never be, and some things I might have never thought of before.
When it comes to the men retaliating, I think some things should be mentioned for the women that never really had a male perspective on male/female relationships being shared with them. NONE of us are perfect, just pick what you can learn from it and keep it moving!

I am shocked by what these men black men say about black women in a public forum. It is a weakness that screams out at me in a way that is quite disturbing. I am sure most people come to this website for the gossip....I do too; but when my so called brothers degrade and stereotype black women to the degree they do (the haters), I am incensed. I may work with these men...I may be their supervisor or their subordinate. These may be the men I meet everyday. I may even date some of these men. To find out that they look at most of us as hood-rat bitches with no class, education or prospects, sickens me. To read these venomous attacks against black women by black men is frankly a little scary.
I am no fool... I do read some of the slanderous attacks made against black men on this site. I have posted my opinions in their defense as well. Many women on this site have. But the haters I speak of, the spewers of hate, are not the men I will defend. They are a cancer to our society. Their attempts to destroy the black woman's character reeks of the Slave Master's brainwashing.
These haters even defend the white women on this site that call us [EXPLETIVE] bitches and whores. So yeah, I take it a little personal. I do agree with you; I have learned something from this site. I have learned to look for damaged men and avoid them like the plague. I have learned that men can be bitter and self-loathing too.
I actually already knew that, but I must admit, I never saw such a cluster of it in one place.
Now let me clarify, I don't believe all black men feel the way these men do. Thank God. I've said it before and I'll say it again. I am thankful that there are so many good brothers out there in the world. No matter what the media spits at us, all a black woman has to do is look for the right, and she will find it.
