: MediaTakeOut.com showed you yesterday a video of JoJo from the group Jodeci falling out during a concert in Australia. Well here's what his brother K-Ci had to sy about the incident:
In case people don't know, and I want to bring this public now. My brother is epileptic. We started to cancel the show because he had a seizure the night before we had to get on the plane [for the Sydney concert].This is a completely plausible explanation for what happened. Another plausible explanation is that JoJo was on crack and then he fell out.We did a 20 hour flight then got right on stage. I knew my brother was gonna get sick man.
When we do the song "Crazy" JoJo lays out on the ground, and that's part of the show...but [what you saw on the video] wasn't part of the show.
Hopefully K-Ci's telling the truth....
That was so stagged!!! Why in the hell didnt they help his ass up if he having a seizure and how the hell would he know if nobody even went over to see about him. They need to just say NO!! I thought a Jodeci comeback was a good idea at first but now I think they need to sit they crackhead asses down.

this sounds about right..when people were circulating the video...i kept saying that wasnt due to crack..It didn't make sense. crack heads dont pass out...they stay wound up.
i'm glad that k-ci brought this to the light. i hate that mto had to automatically go to saying that the brother was on crack. i like this website for some of the news stories, but i really get tired of it tearing down black entertainers. we get torn down enough by the white media, its time for us to start building one another up.
I am not going to judge because I do not know and I wasn't there. I do know that my mom has them often and there is really nothing u can do, you have to make sure they are laying on the ground and that there is nothing around them they wll hurt them and you have to let it run it course, all so there is no set recovery time, sometimes it takes my mother a while to recover and sometime it takes her minutes, depends on how bad it was. So Before you judge it your facts str8!
Uhm people...I am not making light of this situation but come on....did you see how he was flailing around that stage before he fell out. Only someone drunk or high on something does that. They need to stop lying to themselves and they both need to go to rehab..seriously. K-Ci has been on drugs for years, now JoJo has fallen prey. I wish them the best.

Umm this story has been ALL over the internet and if you listen to his interview, he sounds like a crackhead. First he says "Don't question god". i agree with Gangstachick, my brother is an epileptic...he has all kinds of seizures as well, and they are different. I live in Charlotte and of course they are from here, and yesterday morning one of their family members called the wack ass radio station and set them straight for talking that [EXPLETIVE] about jojo. She said he got kids here and they need to watch what they report, MTO better step in line too. People's health is nothing funny...

He did not look well, no matter what the cause of him falling out. But to walk past and keep on singing and leaving him there was not a nice move. Why didn't he explain that. I don't know whether I believe it was drugs or not especially with entertainers who you know had a history of drug abuse. But he is not well. He could have cracked his head wide open and they just simply walked past. When he did get up you could clearly see that he was still out of it. This poor guy may have epilepsy, but he was obviously drunk. he was swaying from side to side, slurring, and sounding awful, laughing, and acting crazy long before he layed out. I can't believe how tore up these guys look. i guess some people can't move on when the spotlight dims. It's actually sad. The price of fame?
I normally try to stay objective, but that sounds like some bullsh!t. That concert was a disgrace. Not making light of his health issues, but if Jo-Jo wasn't feeling well they should have canceled that sh!t. People don't have money to waste on sub-par performances and they should issue refunds to everyone that attended that damn concert.
as for why he kept on singing, he had to.... when you enter into a contract with these arena's and when you become a ent.you have to keep the show going or else..when you watch the video from the begining you here him singing in the back ground and kci says i no thats not my brother back there singing because he wasn't feelin well and he told him to bring him out.. so take a nother look at the video everyone...hea crack heads dont just fall out but they do get sick when the crack starts to leave there system so it could have been crack who no's...all i no is that jojo have not been in the media much mostly because he is missing a few teeth now... I have epilepsy, and I didn't know it until I fell out in the middle of Walmart (the manager was begging me not to sue). My husband said I just fell (just like Magnus said, like I was unplugged from the matrix). There was no shaking, and I was out for less than a minute. It happened again someplace else, which after consulting a neurologist and an EEG, it's kinda like your brain just short circuits. Just as everyone's brain is different, so will their seizures be. I know it sounds crazy, but you're not supposed to touch a person having a seizure. Just make sure the area is clear of things that could injury the person. And don't go throwing a damn blanket over them like Sister Gladys at church when the spirit hits her (that's a NO-NO)

That's BS. Usually at concerts, they have trained medics nearby in case of something like this happening. I didn't see any EMTs. Security grabbed the mic up and didn't bother to check if homeboy swallowed/bit his tongue. At the end, security appears to be walking him off stage without concern or sympathy. That right there was a "Eddie Caine" moment. Go get some help, then make your comeback. Nah, I seen the others and they look just as bad. It's a wrap!

People keep saying we shouldn't assume it was drugs but like someone else has stated,given their history and the stories heard, one can't help but think of that as being the first explanation.
