Reggie attended USC for three years before leaving to enter the NFL draft. And the last time I checked a prerequisite to getting into college (and playing Division 1 football) was a High School Diploma and required standardized test score (SAT or ACT)....Which obviously Reggie has...So your assessment is a bit off.

It is common knowledge that Reggie Bush won the Heisman Trophy after his JUNIOR year of college. A person OBVIOUSLY can't go to college and remain there if they drop out after the 9th grade....lol.
And your statistics are old hon...in 2003 the NCAA passed the 'Progress Toward Degree' rule or the 40-60-80 rule for Division I athletics. It requires athletes to make progress towards their degree or not be eligible, 40%/60%/80% before they begin their 3rd, 4th and 5th years (most athletes spend 5 years on campus due to redshirting).
I am not saying that the man is a rocket scientist, but he did progress close enough to a degree to not only stay eligible but to be 2 semesters away from completion.
