MediaTakeOut.com spoke with a person from Jennifer Hudson's camp who claim that the singer "beat out" Beyonce for the role. According to the insider, dozens of singers wanted the gig - but Beyonce was campaigning particularly hard for it. Tells the insider, "We were happy that [Obama] chose Jennifer. Obviously Beyonce's [people] weren't." OUCH!!

Jennifer Hudson will now be forever immortalized - and I am so proud of everything she has accomplished despite many obstacles . I don't care what anyone says. Yeah,Jennifer's voice is more powerful than B's but Beyonce's performance was 10 times better that Jennifer's yesterday. Look it up on Youtube. Jennifer couldn't even keep the beat with the piano player. B stayed in key thoughout the entire performance. Jennifer had a hard time keeping up and she could hit all the nescessary notes.

You know, I remember the Golden Globe awards back in '06 when the picture uptop was taken. Beyonce was so happy and high spirited on the red carpet because she just swore up and down that she was about to win the golden globe award for that Dream Girl role.
