: If this report is true, rapper 50 Cent has a lot more to be worried about than some mixtape beef. MediaTakeOut.com has learned that Hollywood insiders feel that rapper 50 Cent is losing his appeal in the urban market.
According to the website Woooha.com, 50 Cent's new movie Righteous Kill -which also stars actors Robert DeNiro and Al Pacino - is trying their best to distance themselves from the platinum selling artist. Why?? Not because of his criminal past .... But because the filmmakers reportedly no longer believe that 50 is appealing to the urban market.

The real reason the studio cut Curtis out of the campaign is because their research and exit poll information showed that 50 actually was not the urban or young demographic box office draw they were hoping for.This is AWFUL news for 50 if its true. Think about it ... his entire BRAND might be at stake ...50 basically can’t draw in the core demographic that used to buy his albums by the millions. The box office let down of Get Rich or Die Tryin’ should have been a hint of things to come.
It’s no secret in the music world that 50 Cent has lost some mainstream appeal, but in the film world you don’t necessarily need multi-platinum albums to have a successful film career (Common, Mos Def, etc.) you just need to appeal to the urban demo. 50 clearly is losing that appeal.

Mos Def is an incredible actor. He's very versatile in the roles that he plays. He did a great job in "Something The Lord Made," and he did an equally great job in "16 Blocks." Common has talent as well. I saw him in "Wanted," with Angelina Jolie, and he played his part. He wasn't thug or anything like that. He was an assassin but not a thug. lol! It's just something about these two guys that make you wanna watch them. Another thing, neither of them do gangsta rap. They make music that makes since that's also educating and uplifting, so their not a threat.
The same thing happened with Will Smith & LL. They never made gangsta rap, they just made good music with their different styles and they were able to cross over from t.v to movies because of that.
The only "gangsta" rapper that had cross over appeal was 2Pac. But Pac was a trained actor and he was good.

My baby girl will be 3 in December, she's into the whole Brat thing now, so I have her room set up that way. I have Dominic's room set up in a pretty basic baby blue teddy bear theme for now. Still having that newborn theme. Originally he was going to have a yellow room, but between the windows/curtains/blinds it would have just been too damn bright in there. I've always been one of those people that changes rooms OFTEN though, I hate to see a room look the same for more than 2 or 3 months.
