He is on steroids. No doubt about it. Anytime you have such overnight dramatic changes in your body you can be sure that you are on gear.
No amount of protein shake, hard lifting, creatine, NO, etc can dramatically change one's body in the short time span as Nelly's has. I am guessing, looking at pictures a year or so ago compared to this, that he has put on mebbe 20 pounds or so. Based on his height, I would say he's pushing about 190 - 200 lbs.
Look at his traps -- they actually start from his delts, LOL. And his neck is like a pitbull's, too, lol.
Still, as impressive as his arms and shoulders are, he has some flaws ... underdeveloped chest, weak forearms. And he's not hitting his lower body. Perhaps, there is indeed somethings money (=steroids) can't buy when your genetics are stubborn.
I just want to emphasise that Nelly really is lazy when it comes to the gym ... I don't know him but you can tell by his body that he has no interest in the other parts of his physiue.
Contrast that with, say, LL Cool J. I believe he may have fooled around with steroids but I think most people will agree that he has been an exercise buff for a long time and his transformation is not one where we just got up one day and said "whoa". I have no doubt that he takes his workout seriously and watch his diet.
Anyway, how old is Nelly? I ask, because from the look of the pictures, his body has the maturation of someone in their mid 30's.
It's funny, but when I look at Nelly's pictures, I am amazed that has a superior upper body to most sprint runners (Walter Dix, Shawn Crawford) and professional athletes (Terrence Owens) who live in the gym and whose careers are based on being in tip top shape.
Still, that aside, ain't nothing wrong with steroids and I have no problem with anyone taking it but, now, in my 30's, I wouldn't take it.. I used M1 Test back in the day (before it was banned) and the results were amazing -- gained 20 lbs in three months. But, to this day I still don't know if I screwed up my liver. But, who cares? I liked how I looked.
