It's funny how the black males can grow LONG hair in the black race - but the girls can't. I think it has to do with all those chemicals black women put in their hair. For instance, Rasta men grow their hair down past their butts and longer - but the woman with regular hair can't get it to grow past their necks. That always amazed me in the Black Race.

Well his hair looks nice, probably no chemicals have touched it. If you use no chemicals, wrap your hair up at night, use quality hair products and dont apply too much heat your hair will grow alot.. but he is a man and should look like one, I am not trying to fight over mirrors, flat irons and hair products with a man. Here's a thought: when you get ready to cut that hair real, donate it to one of the organizations that makes real hair wigs for Cancer patients.
Well I have hair like that. I think people are obsessed with the term "good hair", and "light skin". Its like a slight mental disorder in the black community sometimes. People ask me what im mixed with, and Brothas ask me what stuff I do to get the waves and curls in it, its natural. But some people hate on it because they are not happy with themselves and want what somebody else have. Its just hair to me. But u know what, one of my sister's hair is very long and she does not put chemicals in it, the other one do. I think black women would have long hair with out the perms. Black women look good with natural hair. I dont look at it as good hair. Any hair is good hair!

Funny because since childhood, I've always had long and thick hair but as soon as I started messing with the chemicals, my shyt started coming out...So I cut all of my hair off and started over...And after it grew back, like a dummy, I went back to the chemicals...but at that time I just knew how to take care of my hair better...But now, I don't have the chemicals anymore...Better results...Long, strong, thick healthy hair that I can do anything with...
We are blessed to have the hair that we have because we can do more creative things with it...
