PRODUCER SCOTT STORCH CALLS TIMBALAND A 'N WORD'!!

February 27, 2007. In today's hip hop, diss songs are commonplace. But even a hip hop diss song has boundaries that aren't supposed to be crossed. And MediaTakeOut.com has learned that hip hop producer Scott Storch may have just crossed that boundary.

Storch, who is Caucasian, has been publicly feuding with fellow producer Timbaland for months. And in a recent diss track, the Caucasian producer put all of his harsh feelings on wax.

In the new song, entitled Built Like Dat, Storch blasts Timbaland with some scathing lyrics. The Caucasian producer uses the track to make some explosive allegations against his rival. For example, Storch claims that Timbaland is on steroids, and implies that the hit producer is a homosexual. But that's not the controversial part of the song.

Near the end of the track, Storch uttered the verse, "Don't apologize [N Word], you can't even get your label to work right." And that verse, which was clearly aimed at Timbaland, is sending shockwaves throughout the hip hop community.

MediaTakeOut.com spoke with a prominent New York DJ who offered his take on the controversial track. The DJ, who asked to remain anonymous, told us the following, "I know Scott [Storch], and he always talks reckless like that ... I don't know if he's a racist or not. I do know that no matter how many beats you make, you don't have the right to call a Black man a [N Word]."

And there may be another reason to question Storch's use of the 'N word' against rival Timbaland. The Caucasian producer is very close friends with socialite Paris Hilton - who was caught on tape using the 'N Word' to refer to Black people.

MediaTakeOut.com has repeatedly tried to contact Timbaland for comment. So far, he hasn't responded to our requests.

	@ JAHLOVE - I completely feel your point. My only thing is, instead of being brainwashed by the media (and at this point in time, we can't control it. And that's not a lack of motivation or aspiration, fact is - we just don't have the same resources. Blacks in Hollywood can attest to this, as it's been this way for GENERATIONS. At the present times, whites DO control the media and that's just the sad reality...) we need to support what is the actual truth about the Black community - that despite the constant projections of the "ghetto" stereotype, we have have hundreds of years of strong values and positive self-images within our communities as well. And ignoring that fact just to point fingers at other Black people for something beyond our control (like what language a person of another culture chooses to use) is completely detrimental, and indicative of self-hate. That's just my opinion...Much respect.

	Its hard to really get annoyed with nonblacks using the word since its one of many things we seem to accept and take pride in saying. Lots of negative stereotypes that we cursed by in the day now seem to be accepted and worse of all embraced. HipHop culture didnt start the madness but it sure is elevating the stereotypes just by the dollars being made. Also case people dont know, we are the wealthiest black people in the world compared to other blacks throughout the world. The poor blacks basically take their cue from what we do. Try asking a foreign what they think of black culture, you may be surprised you may not be. Just think what you say in do before you walk out in society and especially around your children.

	Who is the IDIOT who says taking offense to the "N" word is empowering it? That's some whoopi-goldberg silly-ass shyt if I ever heard it!!! So by Martin and Jesse (and your ancestors!) marching i.e. taking offense!!! to going in back doors and being given separate but unequal schools, etc., did that EMPOWER the negative? NO. IT wiped it out (almost!) So I say read your history. Protesting and fighting something rarely gives it power, it STOPS it, and like everyone with good sense said, WE must respect ourselves by NOT using that word. Especially in mixed company and in public. Wow. I'm glad I'm a child of the 60s and 70s, I'd be ashamed to be of these recent generations who think like this! "Never doubt that a small group of concerned (black!) citizens have the power to change the world." Cancel the "N" word out of our vocabulary. It won't stop racism, but it will sure show that we ain't okay with it!
