Biden won hands down. Palin was ducking and dodging many questions. She made a few errors. She couldn't differentiate between McCain's and Bush's policies She just tried to change the subject. She totally just refused to answer some questions. She sounded robotic by sticking to her rehearsed talking points regardless what the question was. While she did better than I thought she would be still failed miserably.
I watch the whole thing! Palin was dancing around the questions...some of the words she choose made her sound a little unprofessional! She didn't know what she was talking about. I was embarrassed for her! She took the end of Biden's answers to build on her answer..She sucks and I can't see her running the country if McCain decides to kick the bucket if he becomes President. In regards to clarity on issues, a depth of understanding on the economy and foreign affairs, Biden no doubt WON HANDS DOWN.

I have to call a spade a spade, Biden did win the debate. The only issue I have with the media and others is that, they are acting like Palin is running for president and not vice president.
I also think Biden did better than Obama. Biden comes across as more honest than Barack,, however he was eating some Barack booty last night as well for all those who are criticizing Palin for backing Mccain so hard.
But back to Palin, the shining moment to me was when they were asked what they would do differently than their ticket mates if something happened to one or the other.
Biden a man who said that Obama wasn't ready to lead before he was on the ticket, and he also said Mccain would make a great president looked into that camera and said he wouldn't do one thing different.
Palin on the other hand said that she would drill in Anwar which Mccain doesn't support. Biden lost a few credibility points with me by not answering that question honestly. Because no one agrees with someone else 100%. Biden was smooth but he had a chance to man up on that question and I think he blew that opportunity.

And I am not even going to lie, I laughed at her at least 2 times during that debate. I agree with the cue card statements! CNN showed footage of her on McCains property with podiums set up, preparing for the debate. She was most certainly coached. And did you notice how slick her azz was with changing the subjects? The cue cards McCain gave her kept her on the subjects they had gone over. But if the moderater asked her something off base from what McCain and his handlers had gone over with her, she switched the subject! It was very irritating., but so obvious.

I believe that true Republican core values when applied is the best course for this country. Those values are small government, strong defense, allowing capitalism to work properly, and basically allowing the individual decide for themselves if they want to succeed or not.

If Sarah Palin didn’t make all those mistakes in the Katie Couric inteviews, she would have had a horrible debate. Many times when Gwen asked her about a particular topic, Sarah would say “lets talk about taxes” or “lets talk about energy.” I was listening out for Gwen to say “Bitch, that’s not what asked you.” All in all she did what she had to do, she did not help the McCain-Palin ticket but most importantly she didn’t kill it.

With that being said, the debate last week was the longest I saw your boy Barack go with out stuttering and stammering over his words. Prior to that, anything that he wasn't able to rehearse before hand gave me them impression he was about to go into seizures.
Not saying that makes him qualified or not because he stutters all over the place when he is trying to explain his agenda, but lets face it, when he first came on to the scene he got props because he could give a speech.
And to answer your question, Palin is more qualified and has the right type of experience for the job. Mccain, Biden, and Obama, none of them have the type of experience where they were actually in charge of something. Like Bush, Clinton, Reagan, Carter (the worst president in history), Teddy Roosevelt and so on and so on. With the exception of J.F.K senators make rather mediocre presidents.

He's not been a maverick on the war. He's not been a maverick on virtually anything that genuinely affects the things that people really talk about around their kitchen table.

He voted against even providing for what they call LIHEAP, for assistance to people, with oil prices going through the roof in the winter.

You capitalize GLOBAL WARMING like the planet is still warming. We are in a cooling trend. Despite the fact that no one knows what the exact temperature of the earth should be at all times. As far as the ozone holes. That is a sucky situation indeed. Which I believe we have some responsibilty.
But at the same time, there is not an accurate correlation betweeen Ozone depletion and an increase in the earth's temperature. Green house gases are getting a bad rap. Farting cows and related animals release so much methane gas into the air, which is supposedly 20 times worse for the environment than carbon dioxide.

My tenants can't pay their rent on time because of jobs lost and low salaries...I want change and McCain and Palin have NO plan to change anything but THEIR pay-grade! They want to get rich just like their fellow party members. Wake up and realize that 600,000 jobs are lost and they will be close to a million jobs lost before the end of year. I thought Joe Biden was going to eat her alive and then turn her inside out,” said Martha Reed, 50, a Republican who works as an internet media coordinator from Pittsburgh. “I think it was her stamina. She was able to maintain a really focused presentation.”
Still, many women who viewed the debate had mixed views of Palin’s performance, contending that she failed to answer straightforward questions and stuck too closely to an obviously rehearsed script.
“I think she rested on issues she was most comfortable with,” said Andrea Wagner, 33, a national sales manager for an online career search site. “I thought she was likable enough, charming and able to connect with middle class people. The lack of experience was still pretty obvious.”
Some women, however, recoiled at Palin’s demeanor, saying it undermined the seriousness of the position she seeks.
“I still don’t like that pandering to the folksiness: the winking, the dropping the Gs, the shout-outs to third graders,” said Shelley Worthen, 44, a Democrat who works as an architect in Morgan, Utah. “She didn’t completely bomb, but politically, I’m so opposite of what she stands for.”

But for me an HBCU, from which I graduated, taught me more than any other school could. And the hood, you fought so hard to get out of, taught me how to fight. If you work in corporate America then you probably know that most HR/Staffing managers are mostly black (becoz companies don't want any any discrimination lawsuit - and that's how they combat that.) It's our brothas and sistas who disrimanate against us in corporate America. I have enough friends in HR/Staffing and they openly talk about weeding out candidates with names "spelled differently than usual." A lot of those HR managers did actually go to HBCU.
As black people we are our worst enemy. Black on black crime is what's killing us. Our men impregnanting us and not marrying us (I don't have any childen, BTW.) We went thru a department restructuring, they had to get rid of a several people. My black sista Director, had a choice between two Financial Analyst, black and white. Missouri Prosecutors, Sheriffs 'Target Anyone Who Lies' About Barack Obama
A St. Louis television station reports — their words — "The Barack Obama campaign is asking Missouri law enforcement to target anyone who lies or runs a misleading TV ad during the presidential campaign."
Prosecutors and sheriffs from across Missouri are joining "The Barack Obama Truth Squad."
They mention Jennifer Joyce, St. Louis Circuit Attorney and Bob McCullough, prosecutor for St. Louis County in Missouri.
The reporter says, "They will be reminding voters that Barack Obama is a Christian who wants to cut taxes for anyone making less than $250,000 a year."
While the report never quite comes out and says that anyone running an ad saying those things would be subject to prosecution, that certainly is the message implied.
Not all things that are wrong are illegal. Saying that Barack Obama is a Muslim is wrong, .

@ Bomokn: Hatred among the black race is something that was TAUGHT to us during slavery. 1) Slaves were programmed by the slave masters to refer to the hair on their head as nappy or wool. These terms don't sound beautiful when you compare it to the straight shiny hair of Europeans. 2)Slavery divided us based on skin color. Lighter skinned blacks i.e. house [EXPLETIVE], were considered more acceptable because it was closer to the skin of our white counterparts. Whereas the darker skin, mahogany slaves were field [EXPLETIVE]. Now after slavery the lighter skin, straighter hair blacks did not want to associate with the darker skin, kinkier hair blacks because lighter was better and lighter was more acceptable. Acceptability meant a better job, more money, more opportunity, etc. And fast forward all these years very little has changed. The mentality that we blacks have towards ppl in the same race is a direct correlation of what was taught to us during slavery. I am a black woman with beautiful natural hair and yes I too get ignorant comments from my own because once again they were BRAINWASHED to believe that straighter hair is more beautiful. If no one ever told you that your natural texture was "bad" or "unmanagable" then you would never see anything wrong with. It is only until someone points out the "flaws" with your texture or compare it to another race's that you SEE the difference. Slavery was more mental than physical. It was an institution to divide and conquer our race, our dignity, our hope.
