Toni has been sorely missed in the music business. She is one of the only females (in my opinion) who was consistent and 'real' in her singing and delivery. No studio recording fixups for her! She has the most magnficient contralto voice I have heard in many years. SHe's had a hard time with her autistic son and all the issues with the record companies and Barry Hankerson (her old manager and Gladys Knight's ex-husband). I don't know what happens to people. All of this has really worn on her and while she was spending her time in Vegas and shaking things up there, we have missed her on wax. I hope Atlantic Records will do her justice and allow her to get back on the recording scene. I'm praying for you sister....haven't seen you in a while - but you know ya girl is always here for you! Gott-dammmit man! You folks are killing me. This chica is BAD. PERIOD. Has nothing to do with age... She's a timeless beauty who KNOWS fashion (thank goodness her risque dressing days of the mid 1990's grammys are over), and she takes excellent care of her body and is just adorable thru and thru.
SHE IS NOT 70 YEARS OLD! She dresses flirty, young and "appropriate" as a lovely, sophisticated lady... APPROPRIATE has nothing to do with age, but everything to do with CLASS.
AGAIN...I will say, even if Toni (or Halle, Or Vivica or Janet or Stacy Dash, or Angela Bassette) were all NINETEEN, and dressing like some rundown skanks, they would still be out-of-order and IN-APPROPRIATE. Young age does not give one license to be a hoe or wear hoe attire!

@hotbunny: I disagree. Toni and her husband have 2 young boys, someone needs to be with them, especially the autistic one. Maybe later on, when the boys are older Toni's husband can get his career going but if the two of them are happy with their situation, good. Plus, on DWTS, her husband looks very supportive of her.
A church member of mine is high up in the federal government. She makes more money and can transfer jobs if needed. She and her husband decided he would stay home with the kids and he did for several years. He just went back to work last year and his job is flexible too.
When you marry and have kids, mature couples decide who's the larger bread winner and go from there. It may be the man or the woman but as long as someone is there for the kids, I get it.
Celine Dion did Vegas for all those years to give her son some stability. What a great choice for a mother to make. She ensured the shows were at night.

Her weight has nothing to do with being white or trying to be super skinny...Anyone who reads and follow up will know whats going on with would know this about Toni...
Her family has a history of medical problems such as high blood pressure...Heart disease...diabetes....She has a case of pericarditis.....Inflammation around the sac of the heart that can lead to a heart attack or death...
Her father had it nobody told her until later when she begin to have shortness of breath and all that....complications...
Toni is a model and has always been about fashion and style and taking care of herself unlike some folks who could care less about what they look like or do in life...
She is married woman and a mother of two sons yes we know about the one with autism but she is not ashame of her son she does for herself and her family well...She makes the best of situation in spite of what people may think or say...
If yall notice in her early days with Baby Face when she was more heavier as time went on she hit the gym started to work out took more interest in her health...
Toni is not a old woman so why should she just sit down like some jealous haters might say...Yes, I vote for Toni on Dancing With The Stars because she deserve to be crown the Queen (Period).......
What I admire the most about Toni is she let the world in on her life on MTV from being pregnant to having her children...Her singing career on Broadway ....Her health issues...Her relationship to Keri..Her bankrupcty issues when she had no money Keri was there gave her a credit card and all to help her out and keep her going until her financial situation was under control again...No to mention her beautiful wedding to Keri......
Did yall know she had a best girl-friend before she became famous that slept with one of her boyfriends behind her back? She wrote a song about that also on her CD...Check That!
