: Yesterday MediaTakeOut.com reported to you that comedian Katt Williams was missing and no one knew where he was. Well it turns out Katt was IN JAIL. Word on the street is that he was picked up at rapper Jim Jones' studio in NYC.

He was arrested [Wednesday] night on felony gun charges. Five other people from his camp where also arrested including his security.DANG!! Luckily Katt made it out in time for his Carnegie Hall performance last night. Katt took the stage and told fans that he "just got out of jail 35 minutes ago."He was at Jim Jones' studio when it all took place, and they called the DOGS out on him literally.
They called Bomb Squad, extra units, narcotics, etc. There was a swarm of armed uniformed officers.
And some of y'all actually doubted our info ... SHAME ON YOU!!!

This is coming from someone who was at his performance last night, the man himself said he's going to change. He said "We all have to change. Obama made it into the Whitehouse promoting change. We as black people need to change ourselves. " I respect your opinion, but technically you're speaking of the "old, pre-jail" Katt Williams. Everyone has the right to change on their own and not because society is telling them to, especially if the change is for positive. He was on something emotional last night it wasn't as funny as his other performances and to tell you the truth I will believe it when I see it, but I don't knock anyone for trying. For christ sakes he gave away his "bling" at the end of the performance! Maybe he's serious.

NEW YORK – Comedian Katt Williams has been arrested on weapons charges in midtown Manhattan after police say they pulled him over for driving a car without license plates.
The 35-year-old performer was released on bail Thursday in time to make it for his show at Carnegie Hall. He told the audience that he "just got out of jail."
Police say a handgun was found in Williams' car after he was stopped for the alleged traffic violation.
His attorney, Charles Ross, did not immediately return a call requesting comment early Friday.
Williams is best known for his role in the movie "Friday After Next" and for his appearances in rap videos. He also voices "A Pimp Named Slickback" in "The Boondocks" animated television series
Katt Williams kept his fans waiting at Carnegie Hall for more than half an hour last night in NYC -- because he was getting himself bailed out of the slammer.
Williams was popped for weapons possession after cops noticed three guns inside his cars and spent most of Thursday in jail. He posted $25K bond at Manhattan Criminal Court just as he was meant to take the stage uptown at Carnegie Hall for a sold-out show. He actually played the Hall, and made reference to the arrest during the show.

*BlackVoices.com's Jawn Murray is reporting that Katt Williams was missing in action as host of the BET Hip-Hop Awards last weekend because he got into a diva spat with one of the show's producers.
"Katt was disrespectful, difficult and demanding throughout the process and his unprovoked verbal lashing on the producer was unwarranted," a source close to the production is quoted as saying.
Murray says the whole thing started when Williams rolled up to the set three hours late in an RV he was driving himself. A producer greeted him and wanted to escort him into the rehearsal.
"He hopped out of his RV and went into a 'do you know who I am' rant," the source told Murray. "He was angry and wanted to know who called the union on him, because there had been an issue with Katt's camp trying to over-schedule the backup dancers."
Murray continues: "Apparently the Ohio-bred star of 'First Sunday' then went into rehearsal and acted as though nothing was wrong, but moments later abruptly stopped rehearsal and declared: 'Someone owes me an apology. I'm sorry, I can't go on without an apology.' BET brass scrambled to resolve the situation.
"Williams lined up his entire staff and demanded that the network or someone from Cosette Productions have the unsuspecting producer apologize to each of them. Said producer refused, standing by the fact that Williams' attack on her was unprovoked and superfluous.
"The 'Friday After Next' star, who hosted two previous BET Hip-Hop Awards, then left the rehearsal and refused to return until an apology was ready to be issued.
When it was determined that Williams had no intention to return for rehearsals the day before the show, producers then had to salvage the show and find a replacement host.
The call went out to T-Pain at 1 a.m. the morning of the show to fill the slot and the vocoder-loving singer went into cram mode to prepare for that evening."

I told you that I agreed with some things that you said, and I even respected and assumed your intellect and intelligence. I am actually very surprised at your response. Really, name calling?
