: MediaTakeOut.com just caught word that R&B singer Rihanna has passed out. While details are still sketchy, word is that Rihanna fell unconscious while in Australia and is now under medical attention!!!!
Here's what MediaTakeOut.com has learned. Rihanna was on stage in Australia performing her hit song “Umbrella” (the duet version with Chris Brown), the last song of her concert.
Approximately half way through the performance, Rihanna hunched over in obvious discomfort and signaling that she wasn’t feeling well.
Rihanna then ran off the stage and paramedics immediately rushed to her side. Chris Brown finished the song and ended the show. After which he immediately rushed backstage to be at Rihanna’s side.
Word is that Rihanna was taken to a local hospital for observation.
EDITOR'S UPDATE #! - Rihanna is reportedly doing a lot better. According to numerous reports, the Bajan singer has recovered from what her people are calling a bout of "dehydration." She's expected to be performing again tomorrow night in Sydney, Australia.

The slimmer, the more confident, she said. The same thing happened to Brandy(who eventually became anorexic) and a host of other people. First of all...MTO your caption reads: RIHANNA PASSES OUT, RUSHED TO THE HOSPITAL. Then you show the video. Well guess what? We did not see her pass out. Even the story that was written did not say she passed out. You said during her performance she hunched over to signal that she was not feeling well and then rushed off stage. Then was immediately attended to by paramedics. Where is the passing out unconscious come in? You need to get your story correct before you post them. On another note I’m still so Overwhemled with joy with this election, I can’t get any thing done at work. You see what we can do when we all stand together.
Recession or No recession, I was laid off 2wks ago, I look to the Lord and on Election day God gave me a new Job, a new President, and now I have a new changed attitude. My 29th bday is on Sunday and I have a lot to be thankful for this Sunday. And now I’m praying for a God fearing Christan & educated husband with his B.A like myself.

Ah didn't look like she was preggers although not sure about the rep's call on it being just bad air con, rep's are so funny of course they have to dumb down the events. It was pretty full on. They didn't move her for about 30mins after she ran off stage.. She collapsed on her way around and couldn't move so definitely passed out.!! Looked like she threw up but I guess that's a mix of the harness and all that smoke on stage.. It was pretty bad..
As soon as Chris Brown finished the song he came off stage and realised what had happened and ran over to her.. There were like 6 ambulance around her and about 5 minders / assistants.. He stood around for like 30secs while people told him what was going on then went over quickly, took his jacket off and was right by her side the whole time. At this stage they had covered the backstage area with a black cloth so we couldn't see her directly (as we were on the left side of the stage) although there was a lot of comotion, ambo's running back and forth, oxygen machine.. If she just was exhausted they would have moved her although like I said she stayed there..
Also everytime she came backstage for a change etc the ambo's were there waiting and before the last change they went into her change room under the stage with her - she mustn't have been feeling well all night.. Poor thing..
We gotta love that lip syncing though.. She wasn't that great live? Let admit.. In fact i think Chris Brown rocked and was way better..!!
