: LOS ANGELES (AP) — Authorities have charged a man with assault for allegedly striking "Stargate Atlantis" actor Jason Momoa in the face with a beer glass, causing wounds that required 140 stitches.
Los Angeles County prosecutors on Friday announced a felony assault with a deadly weapon charge had been filed against 21-year-old Dominic Bando. He's accused of attacking Momoa at a Hollywood restaurant Nov. 15.
Jail records show Bando was arrested and released that day by Los Angeles police. Records do not indicate whether he had an attorney.
Prosecutors said in a news release that Momoa required reconstructive surgery to repair his injuries.
Momoa plays Ronon Dex on "Stargate Atlantis" and has a daughter with girlfriend Lisa Bonet.
T007009 --No offense but that comment was so dumb, it makes me look smart.....EVERYONE on the planet earth is mixed with something besides their main heritage. This goes back before slavery. In the B.C. times, their was a lot Europeans traveling to different places such as Africa, Asia, etc. Of course, they ramsacked these towns, raped peoples' wifes and a lot of them took over the towns and a lot of interracial marriages happened. Not only the Europeans did this, but you get the point. Also, in the times of kings & queens, many kings sent their daughters off to often towns (filled with other ethnicities) to other palaces to get married.
So chycka, YOU really need to more about Africa. And don't attack someone for being wrong, when you don't know what you yourself are taking about. Toodles.
PS: Boundth, Jason's not straight up white. He's hawaiian. His parent's main ethnicities are different. So no, Lisa didnt "go white". Neither did Lenny. Last I heard he was dating a latina women. And even if they did, what would it matter to you? They're happy, aren't they?? A shame how much people hate on others these days. Don't you know our president is of 2 different main ethnicities??
Why would anybody say good to something like like this? all the jealousy and hate for this man, Lisa is gonna be right by his side so get over it, people want to believe that us sistahs are the jealous ones when it comes to black-white relationships but im beginning to see some real foul attitudes from the brothas for white dudes and sistahs, if this was kim k and a sistah said good or called her punk ass or said we didn't care,you brothas would have a field day calling us jealous.
