Who doesn't know who Dr. J is? Must not be a sport fan, at all. And Dr. J's wife finally left because he never stopped running around on her and had a baby with this lady. He has 3 young kids with this lady. ESPN did a interesting story on him and his daughter that plays tennis and it detailed a lot of his infidelities and the strained relationship between he and his daughter.
Dr. J had an affair with a white reporter who had done a story on his wife detailing the life of the wife of an NBA star. Which was beyond foul. His wife felt super betrayed by the reporter and forbid him to see his child, and only to pay child support. Which caused the child to grow up hating him and hiding the fact that she was his daughter for 18 years. But they just recently reconciled and are building a relationship, according the story on the two of them.

@Yve I thought it was just me. I had a very similar experience with Dr. J. I was too embarassed to tell anyone until you told your story here. I went on a cruise vacation a few years back and Dr. J was a guest on the same cruise. He was apart of a forum that had just finished speaking to the audience and was now fielding questions. I remember walking up to the stage to shake his hand and tell him that I was a huge fan. When he looked me square in the face rolled his eyes at me and started talking to the person next to me as if I wasn't even there. Let's just say that I am brown skinned african american woman the person next to me wasnt -- enough said. I was so hurt and never shared that story with another soul. I couldn't believe it. I had always been a fan even as a child. But I could never look at him the same again. Thank you for your story.

I was too embarassed to tell anyone. When I came home from vacation I remember my father asking me if I met Dr. J because he saw him in one of my pictures. And I couldn't even tell him about it. And too this day, whenever I see a picture of Dr. J I can still see the image of him rolling his eyes and staring right at the other person as if I wasn't even there.
I can't imagine him being exposed to that show. I don't know his wife, but I'm really into basketball and he seems laid back and classy to me. Not someone who would be apart of that show. So if his wife goes on there, you know he will have to be shown too. I've seen crazier things, but this is hard to believe.
