Joaquin isn't doing movies anymore. He retired from acting and is working on a music career. He said he found spirituality and doesn't want to live that Hollyweird, materialistic lifestyle. He said that type of living made him a maniac depressant. Po' thang. I enjoyed him as an actor and thought he was underrated. I guess he doing him. Diddy wack anyway and of course his shallow and materialistic behind will look at Joaquin sideways. Diddy doesn't strike me as a man of strong faith but I could be wrong.
@ Guessjeans I didn't know he retired. I would rather Diddy retire than him. Joaquin is an excellent actor. I'm just glad he realized what was more important....himself. Cause I wouldn't want him to wind up like his brother River. Diddy probably look at everyone like that cause he thinks he's the shyt. How in the world did this man get a star on the Hollywood walk of fame, how?

Can you believe River died over 15 years ago? Time marches on...
I know someone who knows Joaquin personally. He is a nice guy, but a part of him still blames himself for River's death. It is said he struggled with drugs/alcohol and he can't maintain a relationship to save his life. Plus, he recently "retired" from acting in a bizarre rant. Its sad.
no he ain't rocking that lil hair thingy i see them advertize for women on tv!!! lmao
but all jokes aside, he has to be going thru something metally. b/c when i first heard he wanted to QUIT acting and wanted to sing, i was willing to give him benifit of doubt. but when i heard the actual so-called "singing" i was apalled. no sane person would make that kind of a leap, and the appearance further confirms my beliefs. i know his brother commited suicide so maybe his change has something to do with that, not really ever dealing w/those feelings properly. but i wish him well. it truly is sad to see someone with such talent take a terrible turn like this. hope he bounces back and soon.
also, worse thing about being a celeb is that when there are probs in your life, you don't really have true friends in hollywood. celebs pay for "yes men" to be around them 24/7 so that they don't feel bad about the activities they're doing. when you're a celeb, ppl are hesitant to tell you something you NEED to hear or are scared to inquire that you might need help for fear of being ejected from that celeb's life. also, other celebs could care less b/c of the selfish focus on their own life.
i really want to know how many ppl in Juaquin's life has told him he has no talent when it comes to singing or try to find out what his mental state is?? prob very few, if any.
He looks like a hillbilly www.SEXYTREATS.NET/STORE

@Kimpeach-omg, its been 15 years already?! wow, I was so sad when it happened because I had such a crush on him. he was such a talented actor. he took on more alternative roles like Johnny Depp. I know he would have went on to do really big things if he lived. as for Joaquin, he probably still has nightmares about that night, watching your brother O.D. and not being able to save him must be such a horrible feeling. I remember they played the 911 call that Joaqin made and it broke my heart. well Im really hoping he can pull it together before its too late.
