Rhiannas father is very light. His whole family is light. Colder climates does change your skin pigmentation. Her family hasnt lived in the US for the same amount of time as Rhi. I know this because my family is from the islands. Think about it people when u live somewhere where u stay wit a tan 365 days a year and then move to the US where the weather is forever changing you will become much lighter. My little sister is darkskinned with straight wavy curly silky hair and yes she is dark with light brown greenish eyes, and people think she is really really pretty.
I also have a uncle, my dads brother who is dark skinned with stright curly hair, like a mexicans hair, and people think he is really attractive.
My sistwer has a light skinned frined, and there no doubt that most guys would choose my sister over her in a heart beat.

I wish somebody like yall would crack on my kids complexion because one is darker. Your complexion would change from light skinned to black and blue real swiftly.

YOU PPL have serious issues, i swear ignorance is a sin. first off, black ppl come in all skin tones. thats what makes up so special. why is this an issue. we're beautiful whether light or dark. AND in NO WAY, does color determine one's personality. AND the caribbean has a gorgeous mix of different kinds of people. in ONE family, u can have several mixes. my dad is dark(super handsome), my mom is light(gorgeous)..and they have 3 children me(whose dark), my sister whose light, and my brother whose dark. IT HAPPENS!! stop making comments which highlight your ignorance. I mean seriously, its shocking for living in the 21st century, hundreds of yrs post- slavery.
