Thank the Lord that I have yet to have one, not that there is anything wrong with a cold sore (they are relatively common in fact) but b/c of the embarrassment associated with them. More times than not a cold sore develops to fight off an infection, but they may also occur from extreme climate changes and seeing as though she travels a lot I am not surprised.
