Everyone seems to be puzzled why Rashad McCants is being "seen" with Kloe Kardashian. Of course he CAN do better, however, this is what a lot of athletes and public relations professionals consider an investment.
Mccants has a clothing line, as well as entertainment company that he's trying to build YBG, inc and other ventures he wants to pursue. Keeping up with the Kardashians airs several times and will provide him with marketing and exposure in the world of celebrity for FREE that he cannot obtain on the court. Many of you never heard of Rashad Mccants until he went holly wood. Trust and believe this is a marketing ploy. There is no sincere interest on Mccants behalf other than to use the Kardashians to market his business "ventures' and himself. from the "inside scoop"....
This is a joke, he's just caught up in the whole entire "Kardashian" thing. I'm sick of seeing these BLACK MALE athletes and entertainers dating these white women. Yeah, yeah, yeah I know "love is color blind", but it's definitely a problem when it appears that the MAJORITY of these "brothers date and marry women outside of their race or if the woman is black she is so damn light and her hair is so straight you can't make out what she is. BOTTOM LINE, these brothers are not the smartest people in the world, they made thewir money based on their athletic prowess, and MANY of them DO LOOK AT GETTING A WHITE WOMAN OR THE LIGHTEST WOMAN AS A STATUS SYMBOL.

@insidescoop: When I first heard about Khloe going out with this ball player, that was my first instinct as well. I mean from what I've heard he's a benchwarmer in Minneapolis or wherever he plays, and although I find Khloe to be the most likeable of the sisters I have a feeling he's just using her for publicity and some face time on tv.

@younghectic: I co-sign, very few athletes are good men, but for some reason women will fight to the death to get close these guys. I mean do you think D-Wade's wife thought she had a good man when he gave her an STD? Or Magic Johnson's wife when she found out her husband's screwing around could have given her AIDS? Or Kobe's wife when it came out he had sex with that Colorado chick with no condom? All the money and status in the world isn't worth the hassle, the stress and the heartache of being married to one of those dudes.
I have nothing against interracial couples, but the ones I see, they look insecure to me. It's like when you see them walking down the street, they looked puzzled and worried about what other people think, most of the time. My friend is married to a white girl and he is not like that, actually both of my friends are. For some reason, I feel like we black need to build up our own race like other races do in Ameria, but my friends date interracial but I have never felt the need too. Love in the end I think is color blind, almost lol!
