This was a Hip-Hop Inauguration concert which featured Bow Wow for the First Daughters. More than likely Jay and Jeezy performed late into the evening and I am sure the crowd that attended were expecting this. If more young people knew their own history instead of only what is being taught in the schools they would know that there were many commendable, successful black men and women before Obama and there will be after he is President. If I just said that we have already had numerous black people who have "done better" and accomplished a lot than of course I know that black people have come along way but my point is that some of us have stopped moving forward. Just talk to some of the kids in your neighborhoods. During black history month most kids do biographies on T.I, Jeezy, Jay Z and such. And this is in middle school where they should know better. Of course black people have come along way and have definately accomplished a lot despite different obstacles. What makes me upset is when we have every opportunity available to us but we still find reasons to complain about what is not given to us. If most blacks never voted or never took the time to research what or where a presidential candidate stood on certain issues than why is there a difference now? If everyone was the same, the world was be boring but a lot of Hip-Hop artists, not all do not have much if not any respect or boundaries. I also agree with you but that is when you take those moments when you do have the time to teach your child right from wrong. And although there is always going to be one kid out there somewhere that you can't reach there is no harm in trying. I am a single mother who works two jobs and I am also in school working on my masters so I know what it is like to not have enough time to spend with your child. But you best believe that when I do have that time, I am there to teach him what is reality. No, you can't be there at every waking moment, following their every move but you can definetly let them know when something isn't right. If you grew up listening to music and trying to make your life that way then of course that is what you are going to do. I know our people can get together but we can't stay together. I know a few, A FEW blacks how don't support those people but the majority still do even though they know what's up. That's what I'm talking about. I know a business up north (white folks) in chicago who was thriving but somebody said something about a man's daughter, word spread and now that business is struggling because even though most like the business if they say don't go there they don't. TRUST ME!!! Why can't we as a whole stop all this police brutality? I think it's because our attention span is too short and since we have all these kids with no daddies and all this ignant stuff us blacks go through they don't think we have the perserverance to continue the fight and make a huge impact. There are alot of us who support our own but our own doesn't support us back. Some black business are worst than alot of these white businesses. For example... When my grandmother was shopping around for a HELOC we went to black business. They were nice, respected us and treated us kindly while working hard to get her money. But something told me to check them out and go somewhere else. Later on I knew I was right because when they sent the papers they had her rate so high right along with all these ridiculous fees. When we went to the white company my granny thought the man was racist. Come to find out he gave her the deal of a lifetime, saving her over 200 a month with little fees. I'm all for support but I'm tired of blacks always looking to take advantage of us. Just like Jay-z and jeezy. We need perserverance if we gonna win these battles but how can we win the little battles when you have some who want to fight and some people that don't and some that just don't care because they feel they're worthless? Change starts with you.

Now if you go through a mortgage broker fees are higher because they are just that a broker. They broker the loan to a lender and charge a commission on top of the lender's normal fees.
Now if you go through a direct mortgage lender no third party involved (broker) then the fees are lower.

I thought I was crazy for a minute. I thought I was the only one whom felt this way.
Let me tell you, I have experienced racism first hand. Not only with the girl from college but also at work.
I havent let it slow me down not one bit.I took what I learned from them and moved on. If they weren't teaching me crap at my jobs then I would leave and get another. They thought they were using me but funk that. I was using them to get where I want to be in life.

That is the exact reason Obama was hesitating letting Jay'z perform for the inaugural events because they have no consideration for anyone but themselves.
