I definitely know how Kelly sings and I know for a fact that Kelly USE to sound very good especially back in her younger days but now ever since she got that nose job her voice just doesn't sound as powerful and it always sounds like she's out of breath. Did you not see her sing solo that top at the BET Awards 07??? She didn't sound too good at all and she sounded like she was out of breath. So yes I know how kelly sounds and I know how good she use to sound.

I liked Kelly in Destiny's Child. And I honestly don't think she is going to make much of an impact regardless of her manager. I don't think her cd flopped because of lack of promotion, I think it flopped because it was wack and so is she. Nobody is really checking for Kelly, and I am not trying to hate either. I just don't see potential.
Fact is, Kelly can't succeed on her own. Notice how every interview she mentions Beyonce, or Michlle. She is not independent at all. She's just a snooze. It happens with groups all the time, the leader succeeds and the remainders become back-up singers and their career takes a nose dive. I think Kelly already hit the mark to the point where she would have to bring an album with hit after hit on every track if she wants to stay relevant. She's about at the point where nothing she can do will save her career. Sorry to say.
In fact, I loved Beyonce, Kelly and Michelle much better as a group. I am a Beyonce fan, but I preferred her in Destiny's Child. I think they worked better together than alone. Well, Michelle and Kelly did.
As much as I am a fan of Beyonce, I will say that I think it was mainly her and Matthew's idea to split up the group. Why the hell would Kelly and Michelle WANT to be alone, they both very damn well knew that they are failers in the making trying to be Independent. And Beyonce knew she was brightest one in the group so she wasn't afraid to go solo.
Destiny's Child had the best music, I loved the harmonies, I loved the performances. I'm really upset they're not together anymore.
I knew that riff between Solange and Kelly would boil over to family. No matter what one says, blood is blood, and Kelly you are not family. And the Knowles are no different from anyone else, they are going to take care of family first. Kelly hung out for a while until that group took off, she was too young to realize it then, but that was a good business move. It netted her some dollars, we know who she is, now it's time to move on. She needs someone who has her best interest at heart. Matt can never be impartial, no matter what he says. And as quiet as it's kept he's not doing all that much for Beyonce, but riding the wave. Bey is so big now that jobs come to her. So they would come whether Matt is at the helm or not. Shyt he's just collecting a paycheck.
The rumors that I heard, which sounds more factual than what MTO be throwing up here, but rumors none the less...Kelly fell out with them not because of her album (her's is old), but for Michelle's cd. She was defending Michelle and felt that Michelle's cd just dropped and got no promotion, so she should have been the one to do the Fashion Rock concert and not Solange being that Michelle was part of the group. I heard that's what she discussed with Matt. He goes and tell the rest of he Knowles about the conversation and all hell broke loose. Solange then calls Kelly to tell her off, but Kelly talked shyt back to her. And that is when Matt decided with his family to release Kelly from her contract (not kelly firing Matt). Michelle is going to be next.
Oh and let's forget why the created the group anyway (Tina said it herself) Beyonce was afraid to be on stage by herself at the time, so they created the group for her. Bey even said in interviews, when she did the 1st solo album she was scared to do it and be out there by herself. I think she was scared of floppin', but when she didn't, there was no need for the girls. Bey is the one who wanted to really disband the group. And that was evident with that last Destiny's Child cd.
