: Can you say DUH-RAMAAAA!!!! MediaTakeOut.com just caught wind that former Atlanta radio personality Porsha Foxx is under investigation for allegedly burning down a home.
According to numerous reports, Atlanta arson investigators named Foxx, whose real name is Stephanie Calhoun, and another man Tony Matthews as “persons of interest” in a suspicious fire which destroyed 3 Atlanta homes.
And it gets worse. MediaTakeOut.com learned that Matthews’ mother was injured in the fire. The injured woman, who suffered second degree burns in the fire, is ADAMANT that it was Porsha Foxx who set the fire.
But there’s more. MediaTakeOut.com also learned that another nearby resident is accusing Porsha of being at the scene of the crime. According to a man named Cyrus Elliot, shortly after the fire broke out, he heard people outside his bedroom window - one of the people was allegedly Porsha.
And here’s the final kicker. This ain't the first suspicious fire around Porsha. The recently fired DJ's home suspiciously burned down in 2004. At the time MediaTakeOut.com caught wind that Porsha claimed the fire was an “accident” caused by “burning candles.”
Well, while the jury’s still out on Porsha being an arsonist, one thing’s for sure – she’s a THIEF. When she still had a job on the radio airwaves, she used to routinely STEAL MediaTakeOut.com’s stories – and pretend they were here own.
Hopefully the Atlanta authorities will figure out what happened and, if need be, bring this chick to justice…

this gurl is suspect....I started listening to her in the ATL when i moved there in'06....I heard that she got fired for being pulled over with weed and alcohol in the car. She had just got back to radio after the scandal. I left the ATL(I needed to work again)so no news. Anyone from the ATL know whats up???

DJ Porsche Foxx: I ‘was not part of’ fire
Radio personality Porsche Foxx, sought by fire investigators for questioning about a suspicious fire, called a press conference at 5:15 p.m. Tuesday to announce she was not involved with the fire that destroyed a Union City townhouse.
“I wanted to set the record straight … I absolutely, positively was not part of this,” she told reporters gathered at a Midtown apartment building.
Former V103 radio personality Porsche Foxx held a press conference Tuesday afternoon after Fulton County fire officials and arson investigators announced that they wanted to question her about a fire in Union City
She said she was in her bed sleeping this morning and woke to people calling her to tell her that authorities wanted to talk to her about the fire. She said she contacted the Fulton County Fire Department and Fulton County Police on Tuesday.
However, Keith Padgett, chief fire marshal for the Fulton County Fire Department said officials had searched unsuccessfully for her all day.
“There was no indication that we were going to speak to her. It took this [the press conference] for us to get to speak to her,” Padgett said Tuesday evening.
Padgett said Foxx answered some questions from investigators before the press conference began. He would not say what information Foxx provided or talk about the next step in the investigation.
A second woman was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital for treatment of a second-degree arm burn following the 2:30 a.m. blaze at the Mallory Park complex on Bagby Court off Flat Shoals Road, said Padgett.
Padgett called the fire “suspicious,” though the cause remained undetermined.
Through interviews with the injured woman and neighbors, investigators “learned that two people were there at the scene that left the scene, that we need to talk with,” he said.
One, Tony Matthews, lived in the townhouse with the injured woman. The other, Foxx, was visiting when the fire broke out, according to Padgett.
Foxx’s attorney, Leron Rogers, said she did not know Matthews, whom investigators also are looking for. Foxx, whose real name is Stephanie Calhoun, was a popular afternoon disc jockey at V-103 until the station fired her after a 2004 DUI arrest. She pleaded guilty in 2005 and was re-hired by V-103 in 2007. She was fired by the station again last November.
Three years ago, Foxx’s home in the upscale Regency neighborhood off Campbellton Road in south Fulton was destroyed by a fire that investigators determined may have been caused by an unattended candle.
Padgett asked that anyone with information on the whereabouts of Matthews call his office at 404-612-8907.
It does not sound like MTO got it all that wrong... Last night on the news they were saying that she gave conflicting information at the press conference... she said herself that she sought out the fire chief, when in fact she did not. It does sound suspicious because this is the 2nd time she was involved in a fire... she looks off to me, like she could have set the fire and she is lying (albeit horribly) to cover it up.
LMAO!!! How triffling! Why would she BURN her home down just to get insurance money which she'd have to spend to purchase a new home or apartment; not to mention purchases of new belongings and funishings as well?! She's not too bright I assume.

This woman has some issues...did anyone ever listen to her? She had the daytime slot from 10-2 on weekdays. She was just an old freaky woman who liked to talk about sex-capades.
Anyway she has been replaced by Elle Duncan, I like her wayy better.
MTO...you may want to proof read these stories because the article says the the injured woman "is ANIMATE that it was Porsha Foxx who set the fire." the word should be ADAMANT that she set the fire...sorry I had to take it to school but this IS a national blogg site and I would hope you chose your stories better than you proof them.
umm yea....tearrose33- she has since been fired-AGAIN. lol. Elle from the Ryan Cameron show has that spot now....Im not sure why she got canned a second time but prolly for low ratings or bad audience review...i couldnt stand her segment personally. First she gets fired for DUI and weed charges. Then mysteriously that same week her house burns down. (IT WAS A PHAT ASS HOUSE BY THE WAY...BUILT BY NONE OTHER THAN MY EMPLOYER JOHN W. HOMES). It was rumored that she knew she wouldn't be able to afford the home so she torched it.
V103 forgives her and hires her back...
NOW just a couple of days ago she is caught up with burning some shyt up again...and wouldn't you believe its after she got fired again....
I guess her career went up in FLAMES!!!

Well, She is no longer our dee-jay, mto. And for the record...she mentioned you guys name and gave you credit quite a bit. SHame on yall.she's basically how me and my room mate found out about you guys..via Portia. So you need to retract that , Fred! lol Plus, it was not her home..it was her boyfriend's townhome. @ dealbreaker... I like Elle. But i have to admit Portia was better...and we do miss her on the air at my school and work.lol! Portia clearly has some drug issues though...because they fired her rather abruptly..without an explanation to the listeners. The first firing was due to drunken driving and poccession of marijuana. and you right.. 2 weeks later her house burned..go figure. Now fast forward 2 years...re-hired and fired again!? V-103 never commented on this firing..but the word on the street is drug use. WHat a waste for a "would be" local star. Likley because of some low life boyfriend she's associated with.
I heard from someone who was at her highly publicized birthday party on V103 in November that she was completely wasted and openly using weed in the VIP section. If anyone listened to her show she had claimed she was sober and learned her lesson after her DUI, not true according to people who know her. This apparently was the reason why she was fired so abruptly from V103 since they sponsored the party and she out of control. She clearly has substance abuse issues and she is making matters worse by claiming not to have been at the house when the victims mother says she was there. Person of interest is the first step before she is arrested and is a suspect just the police making sure they have all the facts. Same way Jennifer Hudson Brother in law was a person of interest for two months before he became a suspect and was charged. Sounds like Portia is going to serve a lot of time for this one arson is at least 15 years and three homes, she could also be charged for attempted murder since the victim suffered burns. This Dj made 1 million dollars a year prior to getting fired.
