Chris Brown's "friend" will do him more harm than good. It has been widely reported that Rihanna had bite marks. There are witnesses who heard some of the argument and her screams. Apparently witnesses called 911. And why would Brown flee the scene if it was really a car accident? Trust me, the doctors will be able to tell the difference between injuries received in a car wreck vs. those received in a beat down.

It is a bad strategy for Brown's associates to try to cover things up or tell lies to hide his brutality. They should be encouraging him to accept responsibility for his actions, and to seek help before he destroys his career.

Brown also needs to find himself the best public relations professional available to help him manage his image during this crisis. The homeboys don't have the media skills to manage this.

I think that the public will respond better to contrition than to finger-pointing.

I had a very pretty & fine woman who was crazy as hell and people would say she was the best thing that ever happened to me but she would get into fights and pitch things at me because she knew that I was a police officer and would loose my job. 20-year-old singer Rihanna, who sustained injures during a Pre-Grammy Awards fight with her 19-year-old boyfriend Chris Brown, is now out of the hospital, according to online reports.

LAPD officers, who interviewed the Barbadian beauty in the hospital, say she sustained violent trauma to her face and body, including bite marks on her arms and fingers, contusions, swelling, bruising and a bloody nose.

Rihanna may have inflicted similar damage on Brown as they fought inside and outside his rented Lamborghini near Hancock Park in LA early Sunday morning.

Witnesses heard her screaming and called 911. Brown fled the scene on foot and later turned himself in accompanied by famed attorney Mark Geragos who once repped Michael Jackson, among other notables.

Rihanna’s reps say her upcoming 21st birthday bash on Feb. 20 in NY is canceled. And a Malaysian concert is also scrapped as well as appearances at the upcoming NBA All-Star weekend in Phoenix.

The backlash against Brown has already begun. He was unceremoniously dropped from the Wrigley’s gum campaign Monday. And Brown’s reps say an upcoming gig in Phoenix is canceled.

The reaction from the industry was swift as well. According to a tipster, Rihanna’s brother would love to put his hands on Brown, and other men in the industry would like to “touch” him as well.

Rihanna has made many friends in the industry who reached out to her with offers of protection in the 24 hours since the incident.

Brown’s next court date is on March 5th. He is charged with making terroristic threats against Rihanna, who may not be willing to testify against him in open court.

There are rumors that Rihanna and Chris fought like cats and dogs behind closed doors and their handlers knew that eventually the violence would spill out into the open.

One problem with the story -- the ending!! The contributor said "[Chris] should've gotten out of the car and called the cops on her a*s when it was just him with scratches ... ." That means that neither Chris or Rihanna were banged up from the accident. I.e., all of the damage, bruises, scratches came after the alleged "accident".

Let it go, and just let the investigation take it's course. You are not required to say anything, so please DO NOT!. P.S. you should not have added that he slapped her. That is an assault in most if not all jurisdictions.

This story sounds like it could very well be the case in this situation. Rihanna was left with "horrific" injuries after allegedly being assaulted by Chris Brown.

The ‘Umbrella’ singer was left with facial injuries following an argument on Sunday (08.02.09) in which her boyfriend reportedly punched her in the face, causing swelling to her forehead and a split lip, as well as biting her on the arm.

Rihanna refused treatment at the scene of the accident – which Chris fled from –but police took pictures which have been described as "devastating proof of abuse".

A source said: "She looked like a martial arts fighter. Her injuries were bad."

It is now believed it was not Rihanna who called police, but a passer-by who heard shouting coming from 19-year-old Chris’ car.

The altercation happened after the pair were seen arguing at a pre-Grammy awards party in California on Saturday (07.02.098).

A source said: "Inside the party they were very lovey-dovey, but later on they were arguing.

"Rihanna is now doing a lot of soul searching over whether their relationship can last. Only time will tell."

The couple were also seen having a "scary" fight on Friday (07.02.09).

A witness said: "I saw Chris Brown and Rihanna fighting at the Verizon party at Boulevard 3 nightclub on Friday night.

"They were in this room and they were just screaming at each other, totally cussing each other out. They were screaming 'F**k you!' 'No, f**k you!' at each other, back and forth. They were right in each other's face. It was scary."

While, I do not know what happened in this situation and neither does anyone else besides them. I will say that I could believe this story to some degree. There are women who beat on men mainly because the man dosen't hit back, and the woman have issues. I used to hit my ex-boyfriend during heated arguments. If Rihanna was still acting crazy before or after the car crash, he should have went down the street or somewhere, call 911 and stayed on or near the scene so he could clear himself about the injuries she had. He then could have called his publicist/manager to meet him at the scene so he could have someone there to back up the car crash story.

When Rihanna got examined at hospital I am sure the doctors could determine if the head injuries came from a windshield/dashboard or from Chris's fist.

Instead, he takes the keys, runs away to God knows where leaving her there alone with injuries, hires a lawyer and then turns himself in.

His actions after the fact makes him look suspect and harder for people to believe him, if indeed, the above story is true. He should be defending himself not having stories coming from third parties.

This story sounds like nothing more than damage control instead of the truth about what really happen.

LOS ANGELES, California (CNN) -- The Los Angeles District Attorney's Office asked police to do more investigative work before a decision is made on whether more charges will be filed in the domestic violence case against singer Chris Brown, according to a spokeswoman for the DA.

The LAPD's chief investigator in case, Detective Deshon Andrews, told CNN he hand-carried his findings to the district attorney Tuesday afternoon.

Prosecutors looked at the files and then asked Andrews for "an additional investigation," DA spokeswoman Jane Robinson said.

Andrews said that to keep photos and documents from leaking to the media, he has kept the case file closely guarded and allowed no copies of the material to be made.

Police have refused media requests to hear the 911 call that led to their investigation early Sunday, but Andrews said it mostly recorded the sound of "a screaming woman."

Brown, 19, turned himself in Sunday night after police said they were looking for him.

He was arrested on a felony charge, released on a $50,000 bond and given a March 5 court date.

Police said Brown and a woman were in a vehicle near Hollywood's Hancock Park early Sunday when they became involved in an argument.

The woman "suffered visible injuries and identified Brown as her attacker," police said.

Police did not identify the woman, but sources close to the couple told CNN the alleged victim was his girlfriend, singer Rihanna, 20.

Brown's lawyer has not responded to several requests for comment.

He is young hitting her prob scared and hurt him more than her he runs off shame, upset, and scared. Next day finds out police are looking for him turns himself in and people he has his head dwn cuz he was arrested for hiiting a woman and ppl are taken pics what wld u do smile... he was pobably crying lol

I don't think people should draw a conclusion based on how her and her bro faught. Siblings are rough with each other when it comes to temper, at younger ages. Me and my older sis used to duke it out like we were on the street when we would fight and it was worse than what Rihanna did. Even though that did happen between us we both graduated from college and I'm on my way to Med school. So I don't think that this topic is valid in relation to what happened between her and Chris. Most people have had rough fights with siblings.
