Wow.....Very good... A lot of women are like that, but for the most part, I believe women find beauty in each other, especially ones that may not be "cuter" than them, to show their modesty towards their own beauty. It's not necessarily a bad thing, but it shows that some women show their appreciation for the way they look by making others that dont look the same feel good, or show others the beauty in them...Some "other" women uses their beauty in a negative way and talk down to ones that think are homely. I personally think that Alek Wek is not ugly, and Im not just saying it because Im an attractive woman.

Please don't go there. This lady has pretty skin. I'll give her that. As someone said, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Has NOTHING to do with her being a dark lady. I have plenty of GORGEOUS dark friends that will put this woman to shame...and they're wrong for putting that bright red lipstick on her. That doesn't look good AT ALL.
I once saw a documentary of Alec visiting her native Southern Sudan. Funny was the fact that all the females there looked like her or even better! If these girls even knew, they would save up and be on the next plane to the states. Is Alec that beautiful? Not in my opinion. However, she did happen to come along at the right time when something "different" was needed in the fashion industry.

Thank you! Alek is ugly. The fashion world tries to shove this woman down our throats as beautiful like they do boney Kate Moss. You gotta remember that the fashion world is made up entirely of gay men with zero interest in women. Therefore, they select women who fit the clothes well but have no appeal to the general public. Alek falls under that category. Different isn't always good.

One thing that can't be disputed is that this woman is a legend who opened many doors in the industry for black models. There are a lot of African-American and African models with natural hair and strong features that are working and making money today because of the impact that she has had.
