: Rihanna is starting to feel increasing backlash over the Chris Brown incident. MediaTakeOut.com just learned that over the weekend, a club DJ felt the need to embarrass Rihanna in front of an entire club full of people.
Here’s how Radar Online is reporting things:
It all took place during a celebration for Los Angeles Clipper Baron Davis’ 30th birthday. Rihanna arrived around 12:30 a.m. Sunday. “She was seated upstairs next to Baron’s party, dancing on the railing overlooking the club,” a source tells RadarOnline.That’s pretty harsh to embarrass Rih like that …That’s when Cobra took notice and instead of playing one of her many hit tracks, decided to send a different message. “He played a pre-recorded sound-byte over a beat that said, ‘Chris Brown should get his ass kicked.’ The crowd went wild,” RadarOnline.com’s source says. Cobra played and remixed the sentiment to Brown for almost a full minute, we’re told.
She is still with this issue. Plus she is still seeing Chris. It's crazy to see people who try show best interest when it's really for their own selfish ego...They were at mostly white club, where this was. So it's natural for to play a record by a white band thats says in the song not only to kick his a**, but hang him with a noose? Where's the backlash on this? Im justifing CB on what he did, but has anybody ever ask the question..if this was your brother, son or even father who did this. But not a series of beatings but a single incident that got out of hand. And this has never anything like this before. They never had a criminal record or anything as such. The reason so many people are supporting Chris is that they do not necessarily think that he beat up anyone, but also because they think that the mainstream media is using this as an opportunity to drag a young black man through the mud because they enjoy doing that. They have made no attempt to find out what really happened, but have assumed the worst and made it a reality in their minds, because that is how they see black men, and do not care what the truth is. Don't they clutch their purses when they see you approaching? This story should concern you as a young black man, as it explains why the jails are so filled with people who look like you, when they should be in school or college moving on with their lives. You should think twice about how the media reports stories and try to figure out what really happened for yourself, and work on looking at black men positively instead of assuming the worst, just because you are told to do so.

More than likely the DJ was trying to show support for Rihanna. However, he was misguided in doing so. He should not have invoked Chris' name at all. He should have played one of her songs instead. What made it embarassing for her is that by playing the sound byte it recalled the act of violence that had been perpetrated on her. Better to have played a strong woman song like "I Will Survive" or "I'm Every Woman".
