: MediaTakeOut.com just got news of a new interview given by rapper Eminem. In it, he speaks openly about being addicted to methadone, pills, and a host of other drugs.
Here’s an excerpt from Vibe Magazine:
Following his first stint in rehab in 2005, the rapper, 36, tells VIBE he nearly overdosed after an acquaintance gave him unidentified blue pills, which a doctor later told him were actually methadone. "My doctor told me the amount of methadone I'd taken was equivalent to shooting up four bags of heroin," Eminem says, noting that had he known, "I probably wouldn't have taken it. But as bad as I was back then, I can't even say 100 percent for sure."Good for him … glad he’s cleaned himself up!!!Shortly after detoxing, he suffered a knee injury that required surgery, but because of his drug abuse, he was not prescribed pain killers. "I started looking around my house to see if I had a stash box of Vicodin ... I'm ransacking my house, finally find something in the basement, in a little napkin, seven and a half Vicodin - the big extra-strength ones - and a few Valium." With his pill addiction spiraling out of control again, Eminem suffered his second relapse before accepting he suffered from drug addiction.
"It never once hit me that drug addiction runs in my family. Now that I understand that I'm an addict, I definitely have compassion for my mother. I get it," he says.
He's a dope Emcee ...his delivery is so unorthodox he had to be on something. woth officer ricky calling him out its only gonna bring him right back in the lime light and expose him to the emasses again..however this could be the first time he doesnt kill the soudscans this first week of his release...noticed i said maybe...l like 3 a.m. tho that [EXPLETIVE] is crazy
Its a shame that Eminem is so troubled despite his success,maybe he is stressed by his mama being on the brink of death.I hope that Eminem will get help. by the way,Dennis Rodman had another relapse days ago and he is refusing to enter a rehab.his family is concerned dearly.What a shame that both Em and Dennis are going through.
Who cares about this muthafu*ka. He's a trailer park trash loser, that everybody expected to start hittin the pipe sooner or later so this news is garbage, atleast to me. Eminem can kiss my a$$ for 2 good reasons. 1. This joke can not rap and he takes all the credit that should be given to much better rappers and 2. He talks mad sh*t about black women and I don't know about the rest of you black women but I don't have love for anyone who disrespects me. Oh yeah, and for you black men supporting him, guess what? He hates you too.
