R&B diva Beyonce Knowles has been forced to cancel some of her Australian tour dates after a supposed scheduling conflict with her international commitments.

Tour promoter Michael Coppel issued a press release today apologising for the cancellations.

"Due to an unforeseen change in Beyonce's international schedule, it has become necessary to make changes to the Australian tour itinerary which will effect Brisbane and Sydney ticket holders," it read.

Beyonce's first Brisbane concert, originally booked for Saturday September 12, has been rescheduled for Sunday September 20.
