According to Rap-Up magazine, Chrisette Michele revealed that Beyonce’s hit single “Ego” was originally meant for her own album “Epiphany” but she decided to hand it over to the Queen B. And here is the shady part: The track is credited to producer Elvis Williams, Beyonce Knowles and Harold Lilly … not vocal Goddess Chrisette. (Update: Beyonce was not mentioned by Christette as a writter on “Ego” when offered the song, which she turned down but did not write).WOW ... ain't nothing we didn't already know ... but still WOW!!!The day before that story broke, a video blog post (I think the kids are calling them vlogs, who the hell knows) by Destiny’s Child ex-member Michelle Williams and producer Rico Love was published as well. The two discussed the songwriting and production surrounding Michelle’s “Unexpected” LP, which seemed super normal. Until they brought up Beyonce’s “Sweet Dreams” track and various other songs that Rico wrote for her “I Am … Sasha Fierce” album.
Rico said to Michelle, “I did ‘Radio’ and ‘Scared Of Lonely,’ but I co-wrote ‘Scared Of Lonely’ with Solange, Lashawn Daniels, and Crystile.” Wait … you didn’t say Beyonce, Rico? Beyonce is being sued by former Destiny's Child star Des'ree. According to reports, Des'ree is suing for damages ($150,000) for the use of the song "I'm Kissing You," which was originally recorded by the '90s British soul diva. The lawsuit filed in Manhattan's Federal Court yesterday also is requests as immediate end to the distribution of the song.
A different version featured on Beyonce's B'Day album last year, with a new title of "Still In Love (I'm Kissing You)." Des'ree also claims the two parties originally discussed the possibility of agreeing a cover before Knowles decided to go ahead without reaching any terms.

Pop Star Beyonce is currently being sued by Jennifer Armour from Minnesota who claims that Beyonce illegally used her lyrics on the hit song ‘Baby Boy’. Jennifer Armour recently stated that she is taking her case to a federal appeals court.
Jennifer claims Beyonce Knowles took the lyrics from her song, ‘Got a Little Bit of Love for You’ and used them in her hit song’ Baby Boy’ .
The judge in last year's case ruled that the two songs were "substantially dissimilar".
Jennifer Armour's lawsuit claims she heard Beyonce performing 'Baby Boy' in 2003 and recognized the hook and some of the lyrics from her song".

Beyonce’s people slapped her name on it in an effort to make Beyonce seem as though she had written the song. This has been going on for years. There was also controversy aboutt the song “Irreplaceable†which Beyonce was claiming until it was later revealed that singer/songwriter Ne-Yo penned the hit. During her years in the group Destiny’s Child, Beyonce was constantly credited with writers and producers credits when it’s pretty obvious that the girl doesn’t write a thing and definitely can’t play an instrument. Yes, there are many producers that don’t play an instrument that are successful but when it comes down to it, the person playing the melody on the piano or guitar usually ends up creating the song. I should know since I’ve been a producer for 15 years. I’m not a fan of artists who steal credit for material from unknowns.
