Well now the verdict is in, and Eddie has agreed to pay Mel B $50,000 a month in support. He’s also agreed to visitation and he reportedly wants to NOW be a part of his daughter Iris’ life.
If your father is rich and he decides he no longer wants to keep his family together, why can't his child live as he does? These men make it rain in strip clubs, take jump offs on yachts, purchase vehicles, buy condos, and spend 20,000 at the bar. When it comes to responsibility, it is a problem. It is only an issue because of how much money they make. No one is making comments about the guy whom makes 50000 a year and have to pay child support. The entertainers should not be above the law. Eddie has 7 children total. He is making a lot of money to be ordered to pay 50000 a month.

I'm a woman and I personally believe that these women should be forced to put most of that money into a Trust Account for their children until they are of legal age. No child needs $50,000 a month to survive - and these women should not have the luxury of spending this monies to better themselves instead of the children and it would be nice for there to be some monies available for them to use later in their lives for their education or life betterment.

If women have the sole rights to an unborn child, then they should bear sole responsibility. If you are saying women can decide to kill or have a child, then essentially you are saying you are the sole creator and should bear sole responsibility.
Therefore, I don’t understand why a father should be force to pay for a child who, by women’s implication, doesn’t have a say-so in the child’s creation.
