: MediaTakeOut.com just learned some EXPLOSIVE news. Earlier this year, Lisa Hartwell took her baby's father Keith Sweat TO COURT - to get back custody of their two sons, Jordan and Justin.
1990s R&B star Keith and Lisa were married in 1991, but went through a VERY BITTER divorce. During the divorce proceedings, some STUFF came out about Lisa that made the judge award full custody of the children to Keith (We ain't gonna say what that STUFF was - but I'm sure you can guess).
Well anyway, now Lisa tells Star Magazine WHY she wants her boys back. Here’s an excerpt from Star's report:
“I've already been seeing them four or five times a week, but now the time has come when I want to have them with me full-time,” Lisa, 38, tells Star. “I immediately filed for an appeal after the verdict, but I was never given a court date in five years. I've been afraid of the judicial system, but I'm finally taking the bull by the horns and trying to get my boys back again!”It sounds like she's just trying to get the kids back for the show ... that's not good Ma!!!To that end, Lisa has an October hearing scheduled at Fulton County (Georgia) Superior Court. And if she's successful, the next step will be having Jordan and Justin appear on RHOA. Their father - whom Lisa married in 1991 - has so far refused to sign a waiver allowing them to appear, she tells Star.
“If Keith has a hang-up about our sons being on TV, I would be fine with that. But Real Housewives is supposed to be a reality series, and the reality is that all the fans watching believe I only have one child,” says Lisa, who appears on the series with her husband, Ed Hartwell, and their 2-year-old son, EJ. “Jordan and Justin understand what the show involves, and they'd love to do it. I adore all three of my sons - and I believe they all have a rightful place on the show.”

Lisa is a good person although it's WAY too obvious that she and Sheree are kissing NeNe's butt because NeNe is clearly the star of that show. She is either the epicenter or periphery of every storyline that matters. Did anybody see the youtube video of the Seacrest interview? NeNe treated them like TRASH. Saying she was never their friend, never acknowledging their presence (except to argue with Kim). Somebody asked Lisa via twitter if she was the mole (person designated to cause drama) and that's slightly amusing but wrong. She's just trying to hang in there and this is an attempt to do that
I didn't even bother to read the accompanying story. Why exactly did she lose custody? oh no. Don't tell me Kim's supposed "crack whore" statements are true? And, yeah, I can bet she's trying to make her storyline more interesting by involving the kids and the drama with her ex. Not to be cruel, but it's likely why she was chosen.

The children's thoughts should be brought in even if u want them with u u should not rock the boat and shake up the way they know of living just to satisfy your needs. I read somewhere she is asking for child support to if she gets them, well if she didnt pay him he shouldnt pay her. If u want ya kids back that's fine but dont take em back just for a paycheck.
If it aint broke why fix it? 3-5 xs a week just say, Ed cant bring a steady income but the kids and keith's pockets can. She is truly an annoying chick. If she was ugly she would of been booted off first. Side note, love the way she and the other ladies blew Kim up thought they were going to put in her place and as usual its the opposite. She is corny as hell & she def has some undercover shyt going on w/ her. No one never knew those other 2 kids existed until someone bursted her bubble this season on the RHOA. Last season those kids were not mentioned (verbally) and she pranced around on the show like life was a box of chocolates. Who the hell waits all these years 2 try & get their kids back? What was wrong with her that the judge didn't award her full custody in the 1st place? I wish I would let the man who beat my azz take my kids away. I like Lisa, but I had no idea that she had two other sons. It is obvious that she just wants that extra pay, and she wants to drag Keith into some drama. Even when her and Ed are talking about having another baby, right then she should have said,well, it's not like a don't already have other children. It just seems like for gain. One thing about Keith Sweat is that he kept his business quiet, and I can respect that he wants the same for his sons.
Something is just not right about a woman that loses her sons. I've heard she wasn't stable at the time and Keith Sweat was, therefore the judge granted him full custody. Perhaps, if they are doing well in school and have adjusted to life with their father, then she should let him raise his sons. In other words, don't rock the boat if you don't have to.

For anyone wondering WHY Lisa lost custody (don't know why MTO won't say it...), was because she was an aspiring actress, and was traveling alot, and Keith Sweat was more "stable" in his career. Also I think she was probably doing more promiscuous scenes in hopes to get her career started. And she seems to think this is a terrible. IMHO I think they could have got Joint custody. Because she was young, her priorities could be more on her career than her kids. Case and Point: All of sudden she wants her kids back.
The judge felt the children at the time “lacked structure in their lives, due in substantial part to Mother’s numerous business ventures and frequent trips out of town… Mother has a history of spending money on herself excessively rather than providing for the children… There was some evidence at trial that Mother implicitly participated in robbing Father in the presence of the children. She also took money from Father prior to the initiation of this matter. This behavior causes the Court to question Mother’s maturity and judgment.”
Although Sweat, too, travels frequently, the decree said Sweat’s mom helped care for the children. “Father is capable of providing a stable, secure home environment for the boys where their care is not delegated to random third parties,” the judge wrote.
Wu Hartwell has had visitation rights and has said in past interviews she sees her sons frequently.

I never knew the reason why Lisa lost custody of her 2 boys,but Keith did a great job raising their sons.they apparantely their step-mother also helped raise them with love.I think that Lisa need to continue having visitations with her sons.Joint custody could ruin the grounded,positive parenting that Keith and his wife have given to the boys,Lisa wants to exploit her sons and gain more publicity by having them on her show.
